What a great experience,... - What a great experience, the cruise was really fun, immersive and intimate. You get to cook your own food while 2 musicians are playing live music. You are taken through a scenic view of the tokyo bay at sunset which just adds to the beautiful atmosphere. I would like to thank our host summer for fulfilling my request of surprise singing happy birthday for my girl friend, but objectively the boat ride was beautiful and the food was delicious, be sure to bring a coat or sweater if you are visiting during February, i recommend arriving at least 30 to 45 minutes early in case you get confused finding the boat. Its pretty straight forward if you follow directions on map though.

It was a small group but... - It was a small group but our host took the time to make the trip memorable. The food (sukiyaki) was very good and a generous portion. The entertainment was engaging and attentive.

Loved it! Great Dinner date! - My wife and I absolutely loved this experience! We went during January and although it is cold on the outside you can just bundle up with jackets to enjoy the view. Inside of the cabin was very warm and cozy. Staff was very nice and extremely attentive. They served us delicious Hot Pot that was more than filling. They had a professional Shamisen player sing and perform music for us. It’s fin, interactive, and also educational with the guided tour on the river. Highly recommend this to anyone with a cute dinner date in mind. 😇

Fantastic river cruise - This was a fantastic dinner cruise on the river in Tokyo Japan. I was very surprised. Highly recommended.!! I’ll do it again next time we visit TokyoJapan.

A traditional experience with a modern view of Tokyo Bay - Friendly hard working hostess. Good view of the bay and well flavored hot pot meal. We especially enjoyed the music and songs portion.

Beautiful views - The views from the river are very different and the night lights were beautiful. Dinner was good. It was very cold when we went but it didn’t deter us from heading out to see the beautiful view and take photos.

Skip the guide - We selected a Chinese guide, but she failed to translate any information into Chinese so my Father in law was unable to understand anything. The guide was also very condescending, asking me repeatedly if I knew how to use chopsticks or if I needed a spoon while I am sitting with my Chinese spouse, step daughter and father in law. Other that that, it was enjoyable.

Consider this before you book - I’m grateful that this cruise takes solo travelers because other cruises have a two-person minimum. The sukiyaki dinner portion is generous, I couldn’t eat it all. The staff was very nice. All that said, the boat itself is older and I didn’t get the viewing experience I expected. As soon as all the sukiyaki burners got going, all the windows fogged up with steam so I couldn’t see outside. We stopped just once to float in the bay for 20 minutes but it was so windy and cold that it was unbearable after 5 minutes. The traditional Japanese performance was the coolest cultural part of the cruise but you must be ok with clapping along and singing into the mic if the host walks up to you. A bit hokey.

Horrible experience would not recommend it - I never got to do the experience… I told the contact person that I had gotten lost on my way there and I missed the meet up time. I asked if could change it for another day or get a refund but I never got an answer back. I then reached out to Vaitor and let them know what happened so they could reach out to them to but nothing I lost my money and that experience was very expensive. I recommend not to book this tour because if you it you don’t get a refund or rebooked for a later day. Things happen specially in a country you don’t know the language or have internet I unfortunately got lost on the train going there very displeased with this booking
