AMAZING! - We actually did two day trips with these guys - Montenegro and BiH day trips from Dubrovnik in September 2024. We had a top notch experience with them. CARLOS was our guide and did AMAZING. He was very patient with us (we had our toddler son with us), informative, and great to chat with. He has a deep understanding of the areas and also provided some great suggestion. For the BiH tour, he suggested Blagaj which we ended up doing and I am so glad we did. We had a top notch experience. He took the time to understand what we like (we are not huge fans of crowds) and provided good advice in terms of what to see and the best time of day to go. I realize the price is much higher than group tours, but if you have the means to do so I would not even think twice. I have done big tours and private ones like this and it's like comparing apples to oranges. Everything is easier, and we were so happy we booked with these guys. This is particularly true if you have a child traveling with you like we did. They also provided a car seat. Border crossing took less than 10 minutes! I am sure the other drivers are great, but Carlos was simply outstanding. If you have the chance, request him as your driver. I also appreciated his deep understanding of the history of the area and he is a very easy going guy and easy to get along with at the personal level. Carlos, thank you again for a wonderful two days with our family and showing us the beautiful area. It was a trip we will always remember fondly.

Kotor Day Trip - Kotor is definitely worth a visit. Around 1.5 hrs from Dubrovnik, it is a charming medieval walled town nestled between the mountains and the bay. Very walkable with many historic churches, quaint shops and open air cafes. The bay itself produces a variety of fish with a distinctive flavor due to the blend of fresh and saltwater. The mussels are amazing. Our driver/guide Carlos was fantastic. He is punctual, polite and a wealth of knowledge on the area, its history, and interesting sites to visit. If you book through Adriatic Explore, I recommend asking for Carlos as your guide.

Day trip to Kotor from Dubrovnik - We booked the private tour as there were four of us and the cost wasn’t too much more than us going with a larger group and it worked really well. Ivan picked us up and dropped us off near our accommodation. He was on time, really friendly, informative and happy to tailor our trip to things and timings suit us. Kotor was amazing i couldn’t believe I hadn’t heard about the place before. A wonderful old town surrounded by an amazing wall stretching up into the mountain behind the town. Ivan was a super guide. If you haven’t been to Kotor and find the time to go you won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous day with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. - We would HIGHLY recommend this tour. We took a private tour (2 adults & 2 children) with Ivan, who was very friendly, courteous and exceptionally knowledgeable. We spent the full day being brought to fabulous sites in a very luxurious Mercedes Benz car. Everything went seamlessly and as already mentioned, we were very impressed by our wonderful driver/guide. This service deserves 5 stars and we would recommend anyone who is thinking about taking this tour to just book it. You won't regret it!

Excursion Kotor - Our excursion into Kotor's mouths was superb. Very easy to communicate with Carmen and everything was very well organized. The boat and the memories we keep are among the best of our stay. We recommend this tour thank you for everything.

Overall it was a great experience! - We had a great tour! The highlights were the medieval villages and beaches along the coast, where nature and architecture intertwined very nicely through the materials. We were very pleased with the punctuality of the service and the charisma of Carmen who organized the tour for us. She was extremely helpful and took care of every detail along from the starting point.

Kotor Bay & Perast - Had a great time viewing Kotor and Perast (we preferred Perast). Carlos our guide and driver was very friendly.

Outstanding Private Tours of Mostar & Montenegro - While visiting Dubrovnik, I wanted to take private day tours of both Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Kotor (Montenegro) to explore other countries. My hotel recommended Adriatic Explore Day Tours and I am so grateful for that. My positive experience started with booking. Iva and Luka were so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. They helped me customize an itinerary for each tour, answered all of my questions, and made great suggestions for how to maximize the experience. They even connected me with local guides in each country so I could learn more about where I was visiting. I was incredibly lucky that Carlos was my driver for both days. I can't thank him enough. A few parting thoughts: - I would recommend private tours of both countries as they are long days and passport control can take a long time if you are on a big bus. - I've taken private tours in other cities before, but I can honestly say, Adriatic Explore is the BEST and Carlos is AMAZING. Please request him if you can. I travel a lot and felt like a VIP working with this company. I explored a number of options for travel and can honestly say these were two of the best days I had in Croatia and some of the best in my lifetime of travel. Bay of Kotor Tour - Seamless and Stunning - Our day trip to the Bay of Kotor was unforgettable! Carmen, who organized our tour, ensured everything was seamless from start to finish. We had all the details and timings well in advance, making the entire experience stress-free. This tour was undoubtedly the highlight of our vacation. The crew on the boat was fantastic, and the locals on each island were incredibly welcoming. The views were absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to return to Croatia! Highly recommend!
