Bay of Kotor - Near a small village called Rose, there are three most impressive Submarine Tunnels which were built by the Yugoslav Army. The outside of the opening is designed and covered by fake rocks so they would not be invisible to satellites or spy planes.
When we say this tunnel is the best hidden sight in Montenegro, we mean it literally. Built during the 1970s by the Yugoslav Navy, this tunnel was designed to stealthily host submarines and small ships. The entrance features a peculiar construction covered with fake rocks designed to make the spot invisible to unsuspecting eyes.
The tunnel is a part of a fascinating and little-known series of similar tunnels and stealth locations built by the Yugoslav Army along the coasts of Montenegro and Croatia. Two smaller tunnels are located nearby, but the one near Rose is the largest, the most interesting to explore, and actually the only one that used to host submarines.

3 hours heavenly tour with Balsa - This was the best day we ever had. Incredible experience with 3 hours boat tour.we enjoyed a lot . Adrenaline rush at the peak. We went to lady of the rock, submarine tunnel and blue cave. We dived from blue cave with our friends which was wonderful experience. The driver BALSA was so friendly and polite. We didn't felt him as a stranger. He was like our friend throughout the tour. Very highly recommended tour.

Great trip on the Golden Wave - Very enjoyable trip by speedboat. Luckily, we chose a safe and reputable company (our boat was the Golden Wave, and the driver was Bojan). We booked with Jelena, whose office is next to Niente cafe ice-cream Bubble Tea in Kotor. Not all companies follow the correct health and safety procedures as we saw when visiting the Blue Cave! Would highly recommend booking with this company. Thank you Jelena and Bojan 🤩

Wonderful and unforgettable boat tour! - We absolutely loved our tour and had a great time! Jelena was very helpful when we were picking out our tour and we decided on a private three hour morning tour. This was perfect for our group of four and we were able to miss some of the crowds by taking the first tour time out of Kotor. Vanya, our captain, was friendly and explained the history and landmarks we were seeing. Would highly recommend this tour - seeing the beautiful boka bay from the water and swimming outside the blue cave was an unforgettable experience.

Fabulous day out exploring on private tour!! - We had the most fabulous day with a group of 5 on a private tour. The company was so easy to work with. Our driver was full of info and knew all the spots with the bluest water. We brought our own snacks and drinks. We all loved it and would highly recommend to all who travel to the area. Such a wonderful day out!! Thank you Jelena for organising the tour ☀️✨

Beautiful Boat Tour - Great tour with breathtaking views! Be sure to have a swimsuit & take a dip in the blue cave. Our guides, Balsa & Pavle were amazing, knowledgeable & so kind!

Amazing Trip - We were a group of women and our expectations were far exceeded. Whether it was rapid, curvy maneuvers or relaxed sailing towards the sun, there was a bit of everything. A big compliment to our great captain Balša. We certainly felt like we were in good hands with him. He showed us many beautiful things and his good mood contributed a lot to an unforgettable trip. Thank you very much! We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to.

Amazing Experience on the Water - Our boat trip with friends and Captain Balša was excellent. We had a fantastic time during the three hours and enjoyed every moment. We would definitely love to go on another trip with Balša in the future 🫶🥂
