Highlights
  • Bay of Kotor - Near a small village called Rose, there are three most impressive Submarine Tunnels which were built by the Yugoslav Army. The outside of the opening is designed and covered by fake rocks so they would not be invisible to satellites or spy planes.
When we say this tunnel is the best hidden sight in Montenegro, we mean it literally. Built during the 1970s by the Yugoslav Navy, this tunnel was designed to stealthily host submarines and small ships. The entrance features a peculiar construction covered with fake rocks designed to make the spot invisible to unsuspecting eyes.
The tunnel is a part of a fascinating and little-known series of similar tunnels and stealth locations built by the Yugoslav Army along the coasts of Montenegro and Croatia. Two smaller tunnels are located nearby, but the one near Rose is the largest, the most interesting to explore, and actually the only one that used to host submarines.

Moment d’évasion garantit !! - Moment magique en amoureux à bord d’un bateau conduit par Belsa, jeune homme attentionné et soucieux du bien-être de ses clients. Paysages magnifiques, baignade en eau turquoise…Inoubliable !

The highlight of the holiday - We had 5 fascinating stops. Perast offers a luxury coffee stop with the best view. The Lady of the Rock church on its own island has stunning spiritual beauty. The second world submarine tunnel where Casino Royal James Bond was filmed was atmospherically awesome. Circling Manula island formally a prison now a casino was an unexpected treat. The blue caves with phosphorescent waters and swifts circling the caves was the grandest of finales. Egor our driver spoke good English and was a skilled boatsman and flexible in giving us a bespoke experience. The highlight of my holiday, highly recommend the early time to avoid all crowds and see these must see sights exclusively.

Golden Wave blue cave tour is the best ♡ - Bring a jacket if as you will need it if you are going in a morning at 9am. It's best time to go. The crew was amazing and the views wore just breath taking. Don't forget to wear a swim suit as in blue cave you can have a swim. The Island of perast is the best views. I booked the tour and I didn't regret any off it. Friendly staff amazing views and sunshine.

Very disappointing service, tourist trap - We went to the Kotor sea cruise boarding docks on 06/01/2024 for an excursion on 06/02/2024, you can find a lot of providers there and we followed the Tripadvisor recommendations, so we booked. We arrived at 2:30 p.m. for a departure at 3:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. boarding so 30 minutes late with unclear explanations. We only crossed one cave, passage time 2 minutes out of the 20 minutes planned, a second passage could not be made, we had to return. Express passage past the island of Mamoula, we could have at least gone around. Return 6:15 p.m. We did not have the boat planned because we were only 4 tourists so small boat not the speedboat in the brochures. Gilbert
