The existing Church, constructed by the Venetians in 1630, possesses myriad art pieces by renowned local artist Tripo Kokolja and a vast array of silver and gold plates - tokens of gratitude from sailors for safe journeys. The itinerary proceeds to the UNESCO-protected ancient town of Perast, celebrated for its Clock Tower, built in 1713 and recognized as Europe’s tallest at the time of its completion.
