Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast speedboat excursion is an ideal way to fill your afternoon while visiting Kotor. Both the location of Perast and the isle of Our Lady of the Rocks are essential stops, yet the exhilarating journey there on a speedboat is equally captivating.
During this adventure we will make two stopovers, each likely to give you a sensation of stepping back in time. The first halt is Our Lady of the Rocks, a man-made island in proximity to the ancient town of Perast. Despite its small size, the island houses a church dating back to the 15th century and a quaint museum. Apart from its breathtaking beauty, the island also possesses a fascinating backstory.
The latter half of the tour comprises of a guided walk around Perast. As a current UNESCO heritage spot, Perast astoundingly hosts a series of Baroque villas and churches despite being a small settlement. Fear not if you’re not an architecture enthusiast, the mesmerising environment of this tranquil town is enough to charm anyone.
