Highlights
  • Bay of Kotor - We start with a captivating trip along the waters of Kotor Bay, enabling our guests to examine its magnificent coastline, which is adorned with multiple ancient fishermen villages, lavishing vegetation, and other natural and architectural wonders.
  • Our Lady of the Rocks - First stop, a 20-minute visit to the legendary island Our Lady of the Rocks. This is a man-made islet, built upon a crag that bore the icon of the Holy Mother Mary, and it houses a church that’s been built by seafarers and other locals to honor the graceful Mother Mary. It is a place where visitors can listen to the mystical story about the island’s genesis, as well as examine the many paintings, votives, and other art pieces inside the museum, attached to the church.
  • Tivat Municipality - After we pass through the strait of Verige, we enter Tivat Bay and enjoy in its breath-taking views.

On our way, we are stopping at the ex-submarine military base which description we’ll leave up to you.

  • Mamula Fortress - The very exit of the Bay of Kotor is guarded by the haunting Mamula, a fortified island that’s full of gruesome stories from past events like World War I & II.
  • Blue Grotto - The whole adventure gets wrapped up with a nice dip inside the Blue Cave, a natural phenomenon that’s been created by waves crashing for thousands of years at the Lustice peninsula.

The name derives from the whole ambiance, created by iridescent lightning that manifests itself on the water due to the Sun’s radiance through small cave cracks.

Must do! - Murat and his skipper were brilliant! The water was too high to go into the cave but we were shown a similar one to get some nice photos. The tour was informative and fun, especially going into the submarine hideout!

ENJOYABLE WALK - Walk taken at the last minute on the internet for a departure at 3 p.m., however you must arrive in Kotor in advance because the parking lots are saturated even in September. Departure on time, with the Speedboat company, Captain Mourad is a phenomenon, we feel that he loves his Job, as soon as he leaves the port, full throttle and techno music!!! The boat doesn't move but it sends, as far as stops are concerned, Notre Dame des Rochers 15 minutes is enough for photos, unless you want to enter the chapel because between buying the ticket and waiting it seems complicated to me . Entering a tunnel where submarines under repair were hidden during the Second World War is surprising. For the blue cave, a lot of boats inside, with bathers everywhere, we stayed less than 5 minutes and then Mourad left us 15 minutes for a swim outside the cave which is a shame because the goal is a swim in the cave with its blue reflections, but the size of the speedboat boats is undoubtedly the reason for this safer swimming outside the cave with the bathers from other boats. Return for 6 hours, for those who are more cautious, consider taking a spare or jacket
