• Kotor Old City - Our journey begins at the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Kotor, or another preferred pick-up location in Kotor Bay (Kotor, Muo, Prčanj, Stoliv, Dobrota), where the speed boat can dock.
• Tre Sorelle Palace - One of Prčanj’s most notable landmarks is the Tre Sorelle Palace. Built in the fifteenth century, it stands as one of the few Gothic-style architectural monuments in the Bay of Kotor.

• Our Lady’s Temple of Prcanj - This impressive baroque monument, dedicated to the birth of the Holy Virgin, is one of the largest sacred structures in the Adriatic and the largest in Boka Bay. Construction of this church spanned over 120 years.
• Fort Verige - The narrowest part of the bay, Verige, is about 300 meters wide and separates the inner and outer gulfs. On the left side of Verige is the Church of Our Lady of Angels. Although the years 1654 and 1685 are inscribed above the door, it is believed the church was built earlier, with those years marking significant renovations.

In 1585, the citizens of Perast fortified the church with walls and loopholes, making it a strategic fortress for defending their town. The church was destroyed in 1654 during a Turkish attack on Perast but was restored the same year.

From this spot, iron chains called “verige” were raised and stretched to block the entrance to the inner bay of Boka when necessary. Hence, the name Verige, meaning chains.

• Blue Grotto - Travelers will have the chance to swim in the stunning Blue Cave with its turquoise blue waters. This magical place boasts unusual natural beauty, covering an area of about 300 square meters. The arches reach a height of twenty-five meters, and the depth ranges from three to four meters. The Blue Cave has two entrances and is named for the striking blue color of the water, which reflects off the cave walls due to light refraction, making them appear “blue.” This lighting effect creates the illusion that the water is glowing from the depths. The Blue Cave is popular among tourists and divers alike, rich with various species of fish and octopuses, adding to its unique charm.
• Former Submarine Tunnel - Carved into the steep banks of Luštica are three tunnels. Although built during Yugoslavia, Luštica served as a significant military base during both World Wars and the Cold War. The tunnels were used to conceal and repair submarines and ships. Each tunnel is up to fifty meters long, seven meters wide, and about eight meters deep, with the depth increasing to thirty meters near the exit. Additionally, the submarine tunnel complex includes underground tunnels equipped with the necessary technical facilities for servicing and repairing submarines.
• Perast - The baroque town of Perast is a must-visit in the Bay of Kotor. This UNESCO-protected town, with its magnificent Venetian Gothic waterfront buildings, has a turbulent history. During the time when the inner Boka Bay was under Venetian rule and the outer part was controlled by the Ottoman Empire, Perast held significant strategic importance. It was a wealthy town, with most of its impressive baroque buildings constructed before the 19th century. After the fall of the Venetian Republic and the Napoleonic Wars, Perast came under Austro-Hungarian administration, losing its defensive role, privileges, and economic power, leading to a 200-year period of decline. Despite having only 350 inhabitants, Perast boasts 18 churches and 19 palaces. The symbol of the city is the Church of Saint Nicholas, with its impressive 55-meter-high bell tower standing proudly above the town.
• Our Lady of the Rocks - Our Lady of the Rocks is a man-made island created by the people of Perast. According to legend, two fishermen from Perast found an icon of Our Lady on a rock protruding from the sea. The locals vowed to build an island and a church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rocks. Today, this magnificent church, along with a museum, stands on the small island. Travelers can visit both the church and the museum, with free entrance to the island.
• Mamula Fortress - Mamula is a small island with a fortress located at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. Built by General Lazar Mamula in the mid-nineteenth century, along with the fortifications on Prevlaka and the Arza Fortress on Luštica, its purpose was to protect the Bay of Kotor from enemy entry into Austro-Hungarian territory.

The fortress has a diameter of two hundred meters and a height of sixteen meters. During World War I, the Austrians used it as a prison, and during World War II, Italian fascists turned it into a concentration camp. Today, only a memorial plaque on the island serves as a reminder of its past as a prison.

Mamula is currently closed to the public. It has been leased to foreign investors for the development of elite tourism, transforming the former torture camp into a luxury resort with a hotel, nightclub, spa, and restaurants.

The journey will commence from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Town Kotor, or any other preferred location along Kotor Bay (Kotor, Muo, Prčanj, Stoliv, Dobrota) where it’s feasible for a speed boat to dock. This 55-minute picturesque ride offers you stunning vistas of quaint Boka Bay villages, featuring lovely palaces, homes, churches, and a captivating contrast of mountains beside the sea. We’ll navigate through the tightest section of Boka Bay, Verige, providing you with a panoramic view of Lepetani, Bijela, Luštica semi island, tiny island Mamula, before we reach the Blue Cave. You will have 20 minutes to swim or just photograph the enchanting turquoise waters within the Blue Cave. On our return trip, we’ll make a 5-minute stop at an old submarine tunnel and 20 minutes to visit the church and museum of Our Lady of the Rock.
