Embark on a brief exploration of rustic Cyprus. The day commences with a photo stop at Petra tou Romiou (only for guests from Pissouri Hotels). Recognized as Aphrodite’s legendary place of birth, Petra tou Romiou is a captivating geological feature presenting massive rocks positioned along one of the island’s most picturesque coastlines. Following this, you’ll visit Kourion - an archaeologically significant site on the island, adorned with classic Greco-Roman architecture, boasting an amphitheater overlooking the sea. Progressing to the Kolossi Castle, a fortress from the medieval Crusader period, surrounded by blooming flora and an attractive courtyard. Reboard the cool, airconditioned bus for a trip to Fini village where a locally prepared lunch awaits at a traditional tavern. Onwards, you’ll visit the village of Omodos, encircled by mountains, where you’ll partake in a guided stroll. Lastly, sample traditional Cypriot wine at a local winery, before returning to your resort.
