Definitely book! - Again I’m not sure if these are the guys I booked with, but itinerary looks about the same and so do photos…plus I’m sure these guys won’t object! We were picked up by stelios and his Michael Jackson music collection. He knew a lot about the area and we saw a lot of amazing stuff. Some didn’t happen…winery was missed out (maybe old leaflet) and it was too cloudy to see into northern Cyprus. However, what we got felt better…waterfalls, monastery, parts of the cross, old mosques before the partition, a coffee shop in the mountains, some ridiculously good restaurant with so much food we had dinner sorted too! We even saw snow…in Cyprus! Would it be nice to have the wine visit? Maybe. Would the view into the north have been good…fog permitting yes. But it’s an easy five star.

Great way to see high up views - Well worth a trip with this. Very bumpy when off roading but so much fun. Word of warning though, can get a little cramped in the back and not for people with mobility issues.

Kykkos Monastery Jeep Tour - I enjoyed all the picturesque views that came naturally with all the good stops along the way. The wine tasting was good, the food was good and Kykkos Monastery was the best by far.

Wonderful day - Personalised tour with Viola was an absolutely value-for-money experience. The sights, the narrative, the pace - everything was perfect. If you make one expensive choice for your stay in Cyprus, make it this one.

A fun and varied day! - Our excellent guide Andreas was very friendly and welcoming and worked hard to include everyone in the group and ensure we had a great time. He was a brilliant and careful driver. Our highlights were the waterfall, driving through the forest, swimming in the sea and the wine tasting! The itinerary was interesting and varied and I felt we had about the right amount of time at each stop, though maybe a little longer for swimming would have been good (though I appreciate not everyone wanted to go in the sea!). More information about the Troodos area could have been included, but we asked lots of questions so learned a lot! We thought a short walk in the shady forest might be something to include as an option on future tours? The buffet lunch was very good and I hope word spreads about the location as we were the only people there (so it lacked a bit of atmosphere, but at least it was easy to get to the buffet!). Thanks Andreas, we had a fab day.

Brilliant Experience - Absolutely fantastic views from the mountains. Monastery was very scenic although all those riches inside could surely be better used helping the people?? Special shout out to Andreas who was extremely knowledgeable and great company all day. There were just 5 of us on this trip which was ideal. Saw lots of other jeeps with many more passengers which would have been a challenge in the heat.

Beautiful scenery, great to be able to see remote mountainous places - If you're looking for an easy way to see parts of the island you wouldn't usually be able to, this trip is perfect. It's not about the destinations, it's about the journey! The drive up through the mountains is incredibly beautiful. One thing that was weird was going to a winery at 10am - would make much more sense to stop there in the afternoon. One thing that could be improved is the time spent in Omodos village - I assumed we'd be stopping there for lunch, but instead we could only go to a restaurant they had a partnership with. It was in the middle of nowhere, so you had no choice but to eat there. There was a set menu and it was pretty much canteen food. A better option would be spending more time in Omodos and letting people have the option to have lunch wherever they choose. One other thing to mention is that on the website is said something about limiting the numbers for an intimate experience - this is bollocks LOL. There were at least 7 other jeeps each with 9 people in also doing the same route, so it was very crowded at several of the stops. Finally one unfortunately very negative comment I need to mention is about our driver, Peter. For starters, he didn't explain anything about the day, so we had no idea where we were going, how long we'd be at each location, and he didn't give any history or background information. Granted, most of the group couldn't speak English, but for those of us that could, it would've been appreciated. The worst thing however, was that he spent the day preaching his misogynistic, narrow-minded views at me, being very sexist and racist. I'm English, but brown-skinned - 3rd generation Indian. He decided it was appropriate to go on about how the Indian culture of women being sold/married off at the age of 15 was the right thing to do, how women need protecting and need to dedicate themselves to one man for life. I was thinking, the only thing women need protecting from is men like you. He talked about how western culture was terrible, how single women in their 30s dating random men are disgusting and any man would have to be sick to want them (I'm single and in my 30s, which he knew because he asked me). He said that even if a woman is intelligent, that shouldn't be at the forefront because her chastity was the most important she had to offer. He asked me details about "relations" I'd had with men. He tried to tell me that Emily couldn't be my real name because it's an English name - to which I replied for the umpteenth time that I'm English. There were many more inappropriate things he continued to say to me throughout the day, and at first I tried to share an opposing opinion and educate him, but he wouldn't let me talk and was convinced he was 100% right. I didn't want to get into an argument as it would've made the day even more uncomfortable, so I kept my mouth shut, even though I was fuming. To top it off, after insulting me all day, he asked me out - incredibly unprofessional!! He made me feel very uncomfortable, and kept talking about taking me on his motorbike the following day, and then also going for a drink that evening. I couldn't believe it, I was so inappropriate and also ridiculous after his earlier speech about single women in their 30s being an awful thing. I debated commenting about Peter in my review but decided I should, because women have been silent about these sorts of things for too long and despite the progress we've made in terms of gender equality, there's clearly still a long way to go. This kind of harassment is absolutely not acceptable, particularly when I'm a customer paying for a service. Despite this, I would recommend the trip as there are loads of others drivers and if you're not a single woman travelling alone, you'll be fine. I did another trip later in the week and that driver was fantastic. The day was still incredible and the mountains are beautiful, and I do think it's the best way to explore some very remote areas of the island.

Uncomfortable and can't see anything from the jeep all day - The driver was very kind. Kykkos monastery was beautiful and I also liked Aphrodite's birthplace. The Venetian bridge and the waterfall should be left out and give more time to the beach and Omodos. Whoever invented this type of seating in the jeep (side seating) was a proper idiot. You can't see anything from the nature, from Troodos mountain all day except if you sit in the very back. Other passengers were very disappointed, as well. Please choose any day trip by bus while in Cyprus! Not recommended.
