Soup Dumplings on steroids - You will learn a lot from the soup dumpling experience, from soup to nuts. Under guiding hands, you'll stroll through the market to gather the best ingredients for today's class. Gentle-people, offer to carry something. Once shopping is complete, you'll head to the cafe to make dumplings. Before entering the cafe, there is a shop where libations can be bought. Don't forget the nuts! You may need a snack before your dumplings are ready. Under simple patient instructions, you will learn the complete procedure: filling, soup, dumpling wrapper, and dumpling forming. We spent about 2 hours making 10 dumplings each. Finally, we ate our own creations. I had new-found respect for dumpling makers but was glad I could now make my own if I wished.

Highly recommended - a unique culinary experience! - Feliz is a wonderful local guide. She met us at MTR Jordan Station and walked us through the Temple Street Night Market and explained local cuisine at each of the stalls. We also bought the organic pork for the dumpling filling so you know it's fresh - chopped and minced right in front of your eyes at the butcher! Then we walked to a local cafe where the cooking lesson begins! Making dumplings from scratch is a lot of work but we all had a great time - with a delicious soupy reward at the end to fill our bellies! My children ages 10 and 13 had a lovely experience. We enjoyed talking with the other members of the group - always neat to talk with other tourists and share ideas for things to do. Highly recommended - a unique culinary experience!

Amazing course with passionate teacher Feliz - Feliz was an amazing host. Starting with the market walk we learned a lot about local ingredients. Feliz is really knowledgeable and was sharing a lot of interesting information. The class was held in a cozy restaurant and in a small group. Feliz made it easy to learn. Feliz was with us the whole time. We had some great conversations and learned a lot about what live is like in HongKong. We would fully recommend this course to anyone interested in food or fun evening

Relaxing xiao long bao night - The market walk was a really special experience for us. We even stopped in the night market to buy the local egg puff to try which was really good taste. The teacher introduced us every interesting thing to me and we knew more about hk culture and food. We bought organic pork in the market which tasted really good in the xiao long bao. We learnt through how to make our own first Xiao long bao step by step. The cafe we were in to stay to cook was very hygienic and clean. Music was relaxing. Highly recommended !

Delicious Xiao Long Bao - This experience is a must try if you're looking to learn the craft of dumplings making! With a wonderful host, you begin by going to the bustling Temple street night market. Once you have the ingredients you learn how to roll the dough, assemble the xiao long bao, and can enjoy the fruits of your labour and eat them once steamed. They were delicious!! Highly recommend :)

Teacher needs to be more engaging - Started with the market walk and a short walk through a night market. I guess this would be interesting to total newcomers to HK but we had done similar markets and night markets so it wasn’t that interesting. Xiaolongbao making was ok. We had some fun but the teacher is somewhat low energy and not very engaging. We felt like we were trying to engage her in conversation and not the other way around. The place where the class was held was cold and dark and not very inviting. Could be better.
