It was a wonderful experience that you wouldn't find on a sightseeing trip. It had all the enthusiasm, interest and knowledge of the travellers and tour guides who took part. - It's a unique content. Travellers also had an opportunity to learn and think about the reality of Hong Kong. Because I felt it was important to add that element to a tourist trip. The guide's explanations are also great because of his knowledge and enthusiasm for communicating. However, since it is in English, it is better to bring a translation app.

Dark side of Hong Kong - Great insights in life for people in Hong Kong when on an average wage. High cost of property can reduce people to sharing tiny spaces.

Hongkong behind the bubble - The trip was an eyeopener. Of course we had heard about the terrible housing conditions for a big part of the residents, but to actually experience it; the heat, humidity and claustrophobic spaces in which people survive for years on end made us lost for words. So it was not a beautiful trip, we did not laugh a lot but it was very, very interesting and gave us a more detailed view of Hongkong. Thanks to our guide Frenkie who knew so much and gave us much to think about!

A very informative tour. - You are shown an example of a caged home, but are not touring through those occupied, like a zoo. The guide packs in a lot data, information, and reasons for the situation to give you an overall picture of the problem. Take notes if you really want to retain the information and understand the dilemma from all sides. They sell a great photo book by Benny Lam, in the small NGO, that doesn't seem to be available anywhere else.

Deep in thought - I sort of have an idea of what I'm going to see and hear by reading some reviews, and I was sure the content will be something I'm interested to learn. Many thanks to our guide Issac who keeps these knowledge and figures in head and was very good at story telling, the actual content turned out to be more educational and thought-provoking than expected. As much as how it's difficult to put into words, I somewhat hope I could recall how I felt during the tour while live on. If you care about society issue and are interested to explore deeper side of Hong Kong city, it'll for sure add depth to your journey.

Really great tour to see more of Hong Kong - My guide Isaac was great. The walking tour takes about 2 hours and you learn about living conditions and different neighborhoods in Hong Kong while visiting some landmarks and seeing some interesting buildings and neighborhoods. Highly recommend.

Light on information, history, sociology or dark side stories - The dark side walking tour was okay. There really wasn’t that much too it- not any depth of knowledge about Hing Kong and its dark side.
