Superb cooking class, local vibe - I really enjoyed this cooking class! What made it special is that you go to the local market first to buy the ingredients. This gives you a taste of the local cuisine of Kowloon. After, you make the dumplings at the venue nearby. I am now able to make great dumplings and think back to a memorable time in Hong Kong while preparing. Thanks!

An authentic experience led by a patient chef as we were basic cooks. - Great value for the authentic and seamless experience you get! Me and my wife are basic cooks but wanted to experience the culture and famous dim sum dish while in HK and it didn’t disappoint. It was very easy to follow and you could have fun with the process too! You shop for the ingredients with Felicity and then head to a nearby cafe to cook up the delights. We both really liked it was all from scratch but we’re also shown how to work with shop bought dumplings too - which is likely what we might use at home when we want a quick dish in the evening after work. We cooked up enough to leave feeling full and got some great recipes of other Chinese dishes to try too! Both really glad we chose to do this and met Felicity!

Perfect foodie adventure - Feliz was wonderful. The market tour was really interesting and we saw things we never would have if we went on our own. The dumpling making was so fun! They turned out better than we expected and were really delicious.

A don't miss dumpling experience! - From the moment we met at the metro station exit, Feliz Yau began sharing her expertise, describing offerings on Temple Street, then pointing out ingredients and revealing secrets for dishes other than dumplings at the wet market. We entered a nearby restaurant with the pork and vegetables purchase, washed our hands and got to work. She walked me through every process: cutting vegetables, mixing and kneading dough, stir frying, filling, wrapping, and cooking. Alone, I only sampled one delicious dumpling, but I couldn't wait to bring the rest home to share. Bring a friend, or two, or three, or four and eat your dumplings all together on the spot!

Make sure you come hungry for her lesson! - She taught me how to make very tasty dumplings. Before the cooking lesson she also took me to the market and taught me about the local food and ingredients. I would have enjoyed it more if my English speaking were a little better. Her teaching was perfect. I would like to make it again with my family when I get home.

Learn how to make your own chinese dumplings - While in Hong Kong, we wanted to learn how to make dumplings and Felicity’s class was a great choice. Felicity met us as planned by the exit to the MTR and showed us around the market stalls and the wet market. The cooking activity took place in the cafe which was in the same area. Felicity demonstrated each step of recipe for us to copy and our dumplings turned out brilliantly. This is a great activity even if you aren’t a much of a cook! Highly recommend. Thanks Felicity.

You Gotta Do This! - Walking tours can be a great way to see a new city but this is slightly different and more relaxed. I really enjoyed the short 20 minute walk around the market, sourcing the food materials. The class was at a lovely pace and I learnt how to make dumplings. If you are looking for a low stress activity for a few hours I would highly recommend.

Delicious and easy to learn - It was fun meeting the others who also want to learn to make dumplings. Did not know how to do it before this class, but I think I will try to do it when I get home next week.
