Humbling trip - This was a very emotional trip but well worth going to you just cannot truly believe the horrors that went on. Our guide was great but i did feel we didnt quite have enough time to look at things (think he just wanted to get home as tour finished an hour early)

Really beautiful experience with excellent tour guide - The tour was really good. They pick us up on time and we arrive to the tour 15 minutes early. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and she had a lot time to explain really well every detail.

Excellent tour - It's a tough day but everyone knows that who signs up. It's crowded when you get there but our Viator driver, Daniel, knew exactly what to do regarding the line, the tickets, and getting us to our tour guide. The van was very comfortable and Daniel gave us a great box lunch to eat following the tour. Going through Viator made the entire experience stressfree and much easier than going on your own.

Trip to Auschwitz - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our trip to Auschwitz was incredibly well-organized and seamless from start to finish. Communication before the trip was excellent, which made everything stress-free. The shuttle bus was comfortable and spacious, ensuring a relaxing journey. We were also treated to a lovely lunch, which was a nice touch. A special mention to our driver, Daniel, who was punctual, professional, and made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Dagmara, was outstanding! Her deep knowledge and approachable, friendly demeanor added so much depth to the experience. She guided us through such a sobering and important place with care and respect, ensuring we understood its history. I highly recommend this company for anyone considering this tour. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Disappointing. Did not get what we paid for - I booked the Auschwitz tour for myself, my mum and my two adult daughters. When I was looking for tours online, I could have booked one for almost £100 cheaper than the £360 I paid, but it was leaving at 6am. My mum' has rheumatoid arthritis, which means she is not great in the mornings, therefore I decided to book the more expensive tour which was scheduled to pick us up from our hotel at 9am. On the evening before our tour, we got a message from the tour operator to say our time for pickup had changed to 6 am. Shortly after that I got a message from our driver to say he would collect us at a point about 100-200 yards away from our apartment but at 5.50 am! I was not particularly happy about this but we were left with no choice. I have to say our driver Piotr was lovely. We were picked up in a very comfortable 8 seater vehicle. When we arrived at Auschwitz, it was freezing and there was already very long queues. Piotr allowed my mum to stay in the warm car rather than having to wait in line and I was very grateful to him for this. Once we got to the ticket office, we found out there were no English tours at that time, therefore it was suggested we book a Polish tour and we were told that there were signs were in English. We were given headsets to listen to our tour guide speaking in Polish. We were in a group of around 16 people who all spoke English but we were told that he couldn't give the tour in English because it was the Polish speaking tour. Not one of us could understand Polish! At this point, I'd like to point out that there were English speaking tours available later in the morning which means that if we had been picked up at the original time of 9am we would have been able to have a tour in English. Now, as I mentioned earlier, my mum's mobility is not great, therefore she uses a wheelchair, because she cannot walk long distances. This tour is definitely not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair. Because of the very rough ground, it was very difficult to push the chair which meant we struggled to keep up with our group and had no time even to read the signs, which meant we couldn't find out anything about the history of each part visited. Obviously some parts are self explanatory and with us having some knowledge of the history, we still found the experience to be thought provoking and harrowing but it certainly wasn't worth the £360 we paid. After the tour when I checked the small print, it did say the time of the tour could be changed and it said that if there were no tours available in the language of your choosing, you would be given handouts and also would be provided the compensatory lunch. Well there were no handouts and I'd already paid for the lunch in the price of the tour. There were no apologies or compensation offered from viator therefore I will not book with them again.

Very poor organisation - We had booked this experience months in advance and then a couple of weeks before we were due to go we were contacted to see if we could change the date to the day before. We agreed and responded back to the tour operator but they never got back to us. After several emails I then contacted Viator via WhatsApp and the person was very helpful and confirmed the new date with us. When it came to the trip we waited outside of our hotel where we were supposed to be picked up from for over 1.5 hours in total. Whilst waiting we tried contacting the tour operator and got no response and then managed to speak to someone in the London office who also tried contacting them via phone and email and they didn't respond to them either. I then tried ringing the tour operator myself and was just put on a loop redialing for over an hour and still no-one answered. I continued to WhatsApp and email them trying to find out what was going on and only after requesting their complaints policy which they wouldn't give me and still haven't, someone eventually rang me and offered to take us the following day (which was the original day we had booked in the first place) so we accepted. We had to meet the bus somewhere else which wasn't a problem, but then the bus started to go to other pickup points where we were waiting for other minibuses to turn up with more people on. This continued for over an hour before we had even left Krakow. When we eventually got to Auschwitz we then had to queue for another hour to get in. The museum itself was good, but not enough time. Then we drove to berkenau and we only had twenty minutes before it closed so we didn't get the full experience.

Problem of organization, visit in a language unknown to me knowing that we had booked in French! - Very disappointed, we had booked for a visit in French and we had a visit in English. The explanation of the guide is that it is a visit in reality in written French. We're given an interest-free booklet. That is, another group of French people found themselves in the same situation. You might as well know that the visit could have been ruined. But fortunately we “embedded” ourselves by nerve to another group by taking their visit to the flight and the egg.... A super gentleman with experience and filled with emotion shared his anecdotes etc... He often has us partly our moment.

Terrible company - Terrible company had our money for our tickets 4 weeks prior to us going on the tour we got picked up at 6am to be in the line for 7am to get the tickets that they never bought till the morning of our tour we then ended up having to go with a polish guild. They said they were going to refund 25% of our money back but they ignore all my messages once we were home would definitely not recommend them.
