The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial serves as a unique tribute to the victims of World War II. Being the largest Nazi German Concentration and Extermination Camp, it remains among the most visited historical landmarks globally. A trip to the Museum encompasses a two-part tour: a roughly two-hour exploration of Auschwitz I, followed by an approximately one-hour tour in Auschwitz II Birkenau. Including time allocated for transportation, one should expect about seven hours for the complete experience.

Excellent experience - A very sobering experience. The guide was exceptional. Nicholas was incredible. His knowledge about the history of the camps and compassion for the victims of the atrocities was incredible. Before and after on the journey to and from he was lovely and joking with the group but showed care and concern for all the people in group, making sure we all had a great trip. A real credit to a young man. Well done. Would wholly recommend the trip with this company. But not for the faint hearted or easily offended BUT I feel everyone should visit to pay respect to the souls lost.

A memorable visit to Auschwitz - We chose the Auschwitz tour from Krakow with a hotel pick up and thought the tour and day ran very smoothly.
I had booked the tour through Get Your Guide and booked for 9am however we were notified 24 hours before that we would be picked up at 5:40am. This was very early for us and would have preferred if they kept to the time we had booked.
This was made up for by our amazing driver Marcel and tour guides at Auschwitz who explained everything to us and were very professional. I thought the tour ran at a good pace.
Be prepared for a lot of walking!

Very poignant and sombre place - Very poignant and sombre visit - cannot fault the company the tour guides were great and very knowledgeable.
However when I booked this trip 9 months previously there was a choice of times - I booked for 9am pickup - and ticket said 9am - but day before time of trip was changed to 5.50 am pickup !!! There were no other times available . Why put a selection of available times when u book if there is none !! - is it just to get your booking ?? Because who is gonna want 5.50am trip when on holiday !!!
Other than that the trip was faultless and ziggy our guide was amazing.

Auschwitz/Birkenau - We had a very pleasant driver and guide. The pick up instructions and other information for this tour were very clear. The tour was good value for money.
Auschwitz was a very emotional tour. Our guide was excellent.
I realise you have to go with the site availability and times but we were a bit disappointed with the very early pick up time - a chance to preferred time but appreciate this was out of your hands.

Tour trip to Auchwitz. - Great professional tour, the driver Myron was well organised, competent and gave us all the information we needed. He escorted our tour group until we met with the guide and let us know about breaks, rest rooms, water and food stops. I would definitely choose him again because he made the trip so easy.

Solid trip to Auschwitz - The tour took me to Auschwitz, we got a good guide from the museum and I got insights I'll bring with me hopefully forever. Since I had nothing else planned for the day, the change from my requested early departure to 12.20pm didn't matter. I'm just grateful I got to go. The tour leader was kind and organised.

Mixed bag - Booked 11 am tour to auschwitz . Told that 7am pick up . No guide . So guide book instead and a 10 hour trip .
Advised it was not what we wanted with no food or drinks options available nearby to break up the day so had to cancel. Thankfully via get your guide so got our money back .
Also done salt mines . And went without any issues the day prior

Nothing recommended - They changed our schedule the day before from 9:30 to 5:50 in the morning. The Guide to the Horrible Field, when someone tried to ask something, would answer when it was over, then not explain it. He just read what he put on the signs and told the things that everyone knows. Some things I skipped because we saw other guides who stopped in those places and explained it. Nothing recommended this agency.

Terrible! - Just share our terrible experience with the Company: "Cracow Visit Tours & Transfers", the everyone is welcome to make is own choice & opinion:
The fact that they simply change/cancel the departure at short notice and without any motivation/reason, from here to there, so that they can maximize their profit and always handle it in such a way that you can no longer cancel to receive your Money back, is already sad enough, but with us they managed to go still one step further!
We booked in June, for 2 people, costing around €75/80. Everything was supposed to take place on Thursday, 19.09.2024. The day before, a WhatsApp message came saying that the tour could not take place due to the heavy rainfalls in the region. I thought it was a shame, that we can’t go, but I felt in the first place very sorry for the people in the region, the floods are always a tragedy! But since we couldn't find anything in the news and the tour was being offered as normal in the Tour Agencies in Krakow and on the inline Platforms, including by the Cracow Visit Tours & Transfers itself, we get suspicious... so we did some deep research... and surprise, it was a dirty lie, there was no flooding in the region at all, they just wanted to get us to cancel our cheap booking, so they could sell our places for four times the price that we paid, as demand was very high during this period!!!
We still were in Auschwitz on Thursday and even met the organizer Cracow Visit Tours & Transfers Tours & Transfers.
I will never understand how someone can use such a tragedy as a reason to shamelessly make money and enrich themselves ;(

Dont use this company - The departure time changed more than 3 hours. I tried to cancel the trip (more than 26 hours before departure), but they wouldnt refund me, despite the fact that it says in their terms that you can cancel for a full refund up till 24 hours before departure.
What a scam!
