- Krakow - The tour commences with transportation from Krakow (selected meeting point). The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is situated in the town of Oswiecim, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away (65km). All drivers we collaborate with possess the necessary EU permissions for passenger transport. An English-speaking and friendly group leader will be available to assist whenever needed. Upon arrival in Oswiecim, enjoy a brief break to grab a coffee or explore outdoor exhibitions. Then, meet your local and professional guide, licensed by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
- Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau - Begin your tour by walking through the gate to the first camp - Auschwitz I - initially designed as a concentration camp, serving as a detention center for many Polish citizens arrested after Germany annexed the country in 1939, with the iconic sign Arbeit Macht Frei (Work Makes You Free). This section typically lasts 2 hours, and you will use a headset to hear your guide clearly. The group, in accordance with the Museum’s rules, consists of up to 30 people, ensuring a comfortable and accessible visit for everyone. Explore the original wooden buildings, fortified walls, barbed wires, gas chambers, and crematoria - all of which leave a profound impression, allowing one to grasp the scale of the Holocaust.
- Brzezinka - After the first camp, a short break of up to 15 minutes is planned. You will be transported to the second part of the tour - Birkenau (Auschwitz II), just 3 minutes away, which is the largest camp built and operated for the specific purpose of making Europe ‘’Judenrein’’ (free of Jews). The same guide continues with a poignant lecture about the camp in the village of Brzezinka (Birkenau), constructed in 1941 on the orders of Heinrich Himmler (SS commander) and capable of holding around 90,000 prisoners. You will hear about the horrific stories of unimaginable living conditions, as well as the cruel selection and pseudo-scientific medical experiments conducted by prominent Nazi doctors, including Josef Mengele. The history of the soldiers of the 60th Army of the First Ukrainian Front opening the gates of Auschwitz on January 27, 1945, marking the final liberation, concludes your tour with the sentiment that such genocide should never have occurred and must never happen again.
- Wieliczka - Transport from Birkenau to Wieliczka takes about 90 minutes, providing time for a nap.
- Krakow - At the end of the tour, there is no rush. Take a few minutes to relax, which can be spent in a bookstore, grocery store, or simply resting. Afterward, you will be transported to a predetermined address in Krakow.
- Szyb Daniłowicza - The tour begins with a descent of 64 meters by stairs. You are then guided through various chambers and shown underground lakes, shrines, and salt monuments. The trip concludes at a depth of 135 meters below the surface, and the return to the surface is by lift. A standard guided tour through the Salt Mine lasts 2-3 hours, with visitors walking along a 3.5-kilometer tourist route.
