Highlights
  • Szeroka Street - Szeroka Street is the center of old Jewish culture, where you can see old synagogues, palaces and majestic houses from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
  • Muzeum Krakowa - Stara Synagoga - The Old Synagogue is the oldest preserved synagogue in Poland and one of the most valuable monuments of Jewish religious architecture in Europe.
  • Remuh Synagogue - The Remuh Synagogue is the second oldest Jewish prayer house in Kraków. The synagogue and the adjacent cemetery form a unique and priceless complex of Jewish architecture and sacred art
  • Kupa Synagogue (Synagoga Kupa) - The Kupa Synagogue is the last synagogue built during the existence of the Jewish town.
It was also called Szpitalna because of its close proximity to the former Jewish hospital and the Poor, because the poorest members of the Jewish community prayed there.
  • The New Square - Until the mid-19th century, the area of today’s Nowy Square (commonly known as the Jewish Square) was part of the Jewish town. The complex of streets, neglected and chaotically built up, was put in order, and the marked out square was called Nowy (“New”). The present buildings around the square were formed mostly at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and the most characteristic element is the so-called Okrąglak, erected as a covered market hall.
  • Tempel Synagogue - The Tempel Synagogue is one of the four active synagogues in Krakow, but services are held sporadically, it is also
a thriving center of Jewish culture, which hosts numerous concerts and meetings, especially during the Jewish Culture Festival.
  • Corpus Christi Church (Kosciol Bozego Ciala) - The Corpus Christi Church is distinguished by its size, importance and architecture.
  • Father Bernatek Footbridge - The Father Bernatek Footbridge is a unique place in Podgórze, built in 2010 on the site of the former Podgórze bridge, it connects Kazimierz with Podgórze.
