In different, local restaurants and bars you will have craft beer, traditional pierogi (Polish dumplings) and placki (potato pancakes), zapiekanka, and oscypek at local hideaways. Mateusz led us on a great tour of Krakow - We had a wonderful time touring Krakow and sampling its food with our excellent guide Mateusz. He is friendly and knowledgeable and was generous with his time, taking extra time to show us the sights of the old town and Kazimierz. Delicious food at each stop along the way! Definitely recommend this tour.

Great time in Krakow - Matusa was great this is my second tour with him. We did Nova Hut last year. This tour company and guys are first class and I enjoy every tour with them. Happy recommend the guide and the company.

Must do in krakow - Great tour, a must do. The restaurant stops and food choices were expertly chosen. Tour guide was not only able to give insight regarding the food but was also educated on the sights and the city. Mateusz was especially great, made the tour even better. Logistics were handled perfectly and were able to accomodate to our group’s needs.

Highlight of my trip - Our tour with our guide Mateusz Tomaszczyk was fantastic and the highlight of our trip. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and about Krakow. He personalized the tour to our interests and made us feel comfortable, conversation flowed freely. The food was amazing and we learned so much about the city.

Krakow Bites and Sights Tour is where it's at! - My husband and I went on a private "Krakow Bites and Sights Food Tour". Our guide, Mateusz, taught us all about the food scene in Krakow as well as the history behind the dishes and drinks we tried. He was funny, engaging, and open to answering all of our questions whether they were about the food, the history of the buildings we visited, or the people and politics of Poland's past and present. This tour is a "must do" for anyone visiting the city. Highly recommend the tour AND Mateusz.

Cracking Krakow - 3+ hrs of the best time spent being shown round Krakow with Mateusz… his knowledge and stories were fantastic & the “light bites” were anything but. We practically got a full 3 course meal & drinks/snacks along different stops with some of the best traditional Polish foods we’ve tried. Easy to say but this truly was an experience we’re so glad we didn’t miss!

Great Food Tour and Wonderful Value - An evening with Krakow Urban Tours and their wonderful guide Mateusz is like going to dinner with an old friend. A friend who is a great storyteller, a passionate historian of Polish and Krakow history, one who is knowledgeable about food and wine and vodka and a friend who makes an evening wonderful.
If you are in Krakow for even a short visit, schedule a food tour with Krakow Urban Tours and hope you get Mateusz as your guide. This tour is a great value and is as delightful as the city itself.
