Castle adventure - The richness of information was amazing. The lady was so knowledgeable and knew all about the history! I like how she controlled the group when some over excited guests got rowdy! Great tour!

Experience not to be missed - The very extensive knowledge of our guide, without notes of any kind. Nice small group. Guides need to have colourful umbrella to find them.

Wasted time - Most of the time was spent waiting due to poor planning by tour operators. We were asked to meet outside the castle 10 minutes before the tour started at 14:00. We then walked in a group up to the opposite side of the castle where the tour participants were asked to wait. The guide spent an annoyingly long time collecting audio equipment and arranging for us to go to the bathroom. The trip was supposed to last an hour. In reality we got 37 minutes. Many of the tour participants were quite annoyed. This trip is not recommended. The castle is nice, but find a tour operator that is a bit more structured.

Disorganized and not very engaging - We have booked many tours through Viator before and have had good experiences but this tour was a waist of time/money. It was disorganized and we didn’t start until over 40 min from the stated time. The tour guide (?Alina) was pleasant but seemed frazzled and was rushing though to get to the end. She actually had arrived late and then told the group to hurry up as we may miss the entry time to the castle. Over half the group decided to leave along the way (which I have never seen before on a paid tour). Rather disappointing - not sure how they are selecting guides but this was not at all what we expected for over 50 dollars. We took a free walking tour in the afternoon of Krakow that passed through Wavel and learned far more in the 20 min we stopped at the castle than the 3 h on this tour. Perhaps they were having a bad day but I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone.
