Highlights
  • Kraków - We are going to show you how to make pierogi like a pro. At the beginning, you’ll go shopping at the bustling market, and you will get from your guide all the insider info on the fresh vegetables and produce for sale along the way. Your guide will even be able to teach you some expressions in Polish if you wish so that you can barter at the market like a true Krakow native!
Next on this Krakow tour, you’ll be taken to a family home, where you’ll be able to put all that delicious fresh produce to use and get some cooking lessons from Krakow locals. You’ll be taught how to make a pierogi, a typical Polish dish (kind of like a dumpling). Whilst you’re cooking you’ll have the chance to ask all the questions about Poland you have always had.
Finally, you’ll be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour and tuck into all the Krakow food you’ve been making. As you’ll be eating with a Polish family, this will also be your chance to ask all those questions you have about Polish culture, and your hosts will be very happy to teach you all about their country. Eat, drink, and be merry – Krakow style!

Pierogi cooking class - The pierogi class in Poland was a blast! Making these delicious dumplings from scratch was not only tasty but also a cool way to learn about Polish culture. Magdalena, the host, was fantastic—her warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable and her knowledge of polands history and culture made it more than just a cooking class.

Wonderful experience making pierogies and taking a good tour in Krakow! - I had the absolute best experience making pierogies and taking the food tour. I was lucky to have Aneta as my guide! She was so kind and friendly! I loved visiting the market for ingredients and making the traditional pierogies with Aneta. I also did the food tour which is the best decision you can make! EVERYTHING was so wonderful and memorable! I'm so happy I had the chance to learn all about the local history, customs and experience the food! I'm also thrilled I can call Aneta my friend after our fantastic day! Don't hesitate! This has been one of the best and most favorite things I did while visiting Krakow!

Enjoyed myself! - It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Tomasz picked me up on time, we went shopping for Pierogi ingredients together - and then we drove to his place to cook. He walked me through each step - and answered all questions patiently. Also prepared a great selection of snacks including some heavenly smoked goat cheese. The Pierogi turned out quite nicely and I left his home with a full stomach!! I highly recommend this experience.

Amazing - One of the best tours I have taken anywhere. Period. Tomasz was an amazing host. I lucked out that I was the only one that day so got a 1:1 lesson. The snacks were amazing. And the whole class was well structured. Hands on and also instructional. I felt welcome as a guest in tomasz’s house. The pierogi we made were delicious and I can’t wait to try the recipe on my own. Do this tour without hesitation.

Fantastic, give it a go if you’re in Krakow - My Son and I had such a great time learning to cook pierogies with our friendly host Alicja. It was a highlight of our trip to Krakow. We started with shopping for ingredients in the market and attempting Polish in the process! Then on to the lesson (with beer and snacks), cooking Pierogies and then eating them for lunch. Delicious. I would highly recommend the whole experience and Alicja is fantastic.
