The museum is housed in the former enamel factory owned by the industrialist who is credited with saving more than 1,000 lives during the Holocaust. This location and its narrative were catapulted into the public consciousness by Steven Spielberg’s award-winning 1993 film, ‘Schindler’s List.’ Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, explore the impactful displays housed in the original factory where Schindler employed many Jews, providing them with protection from the Nazi forces. Visit Schindler’s office, listen to anecdotes of the individuals he saved, and witness the multimedia presentations, photographs, and exhibits that unveil the brutal reality of Krakow under Nazi and Soviet rule.
