A great day at the salt mines - I had s great time at the salt mines, a fantastic place and a great guide. We been picked up at the hotel by Max Szkatula who was an excellent driver, and during the way to the saltmines he shared his knowledge about Poland and Krakow history, It was a very good trip.

Gr8 trip to the Salt Mines with Karol. - We had a fab day at the Salt Mines and Karol our driver was excellent, came to our hotel on time and was chatty and pleasant company on the trip there and back. He ensured we had all the contact details to meet after the mine tour and was there to meet us. He had all the tickets ready and it was great to pay at the end of the day, we paid by card at the office in the Old Town as Karol’s card machine didn’t work and he would have driven us back to our hotel but we stayed in the Main Market Square, beside the Gr8way office. Karol had lived in Ireland so we could chat about life there too. He’s a good safe driver and we loved the small group minibus tour. I would highly recommend Karol and Gr8Way company. Our hotel booked our trip.

Salt Mines Krakow - Karol was fantastic, safe driver & very knowledgeable. I will look him up again when I go back to see other sites. The tour guide Jasek was fun and knows his stuff. Unfortunately the tour we took would not be suitable for disabled or people with difficulty walking as you start the tour going down 56 flights of stairs.

Driven by Peter to the salt mine - Wonderful tour of the salt mines. Peter was an impeccable driver. He picked us up promptly and was really good at answering our questions and engaging with us to give us his wealth of knowledge about Krakow. I would thoroughly recommend having him as your driver.

ITS NOT A SMALL GROUP TOUR - This tour is advertised as a small group tour for which they charge a premium compared to other companies selling salt mine experiences. Unfortunately this couldn’t be further from the truth. Firstly the driver arrived late at the hotel. We were trying to message the company via WhatsApp to see if they had forgotten our collection point or for an estimate of when they would arrive but received no answer. The driver did not speak any English at all. many of the people being picked up had questions for the driver in regards to the tour and return drop off arrangements but was unable to get any answers. The tour of the salt mines itself is not provided by this company! Instead you are handed over to a guide from the mines along with many other tourists visiting. The group size definitely was not small, often it was difficult to hear the guide as the group was soo large you could not get close enough, nor would you be able to see much of what’s being talked about due to the group size. Whilst I recommend the salt mines, don’t pay a premium with this company that tries to sell you the tour as a small group as this was very misleading and did not meet our expectations.
