- The Ghetto Heroes Square - The Ghetto Heroes Square is a square in the Podgórze district of Krakow. In the years 1941–1943 it was within the ghetto. It was a place of concentration of the Jewish population before transport to concentration camps. Currently, there is an unusual monument in this place - several dozen cast-iron chairs standing individually in the square. They symbolize property and belongings of Krakow Jews scattered on the streets after the liquidation of the ghetto.

Wieliczka is a small town located 10 km from Krakow and is home to one of the oldest and largest salt mines in Europe, with a history spanning 700 years. The mine plunges to a depth of 340 metres and the network of passages and tunnels stretch over 245 kilometres.
Visitors are guided on a more than 3km long tour, featuring over 20 chambers. Included in these is the prominent and exclusive St. Kinga’s Church - the patron of miners. Decorated lavishly with chandeliers, carvings, and sculptures of saints hewn from salt, the subterranean church is a sight to behold. A unique microclimate beneficial to health exists in the mine, and a sanatorium is located 135m down.
