An absolute must! - Unique and fantastic experience touring around in an old communist car (we had the militia car). Our guide, Thomas, was excellent. Gave informative, fun, and humorous first hand perspectives and experiences of growing up in communist Nowa Huta and how it has changed since. We had an incredible time. Thank you, Thomas!

Authentic & fun! - This is the third time I have done this tour in last 11 years- with different friends/family. Majecyk has been the guide twice and didn’t disappoint today. His first hand knowledge of the district and authentic anecdotes really enrich the experience. His passion for sharing rhe history and heritage of his country shines through and obviously the Trabant adds a fun element! Highly recommended experience if you want to appreciate the breadth of Polish history. Thank you Majecyk, hope to see you again soon! Zoe,Ren & Martha.

Excellent tour of Nowa Huta with Maciek of Crazy Guides - This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Maciek, was very knowledgeable about the history and he also shared his and his family's experiences living in Krakow under Communist rule. He picked us up in the trabant and took us to all the places listed. We spent 4 hours in Nowa huta and it was well worth it! Michał, the owner was also very responsive to our questions and booking with him was easy. I highly recommend Crazy Guides!

A Fascinating Insight. - My husband booked this tour for us whilst we were in Krakow recently. I was a little hesitant to begin with as I didn’t think it was my ‘thing’. However, when the lovely Cornelia arrived at our hotel in the duck egg blue Trabant and offered us vodka in paper cups and chocolate I thought it might be okay after all! Cornelia was very informative. She had fascinating knowledge of the Communist era in Poland plus lots of her own interesting little anecdotes. She took us to lots of interesting places, the highlight for us being the Nuclear Bunker at the Steelworks. We had typical Polish food at the Stylowa Restaurant and then Cornelia drove us back to our hotel. Cornelia is very personable, very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and an excellent driver. The car gets a lot of attention while you’re on the tour. It was a brilliant way to spend the afternoon.

Brilliant tour of post-war Polish history - This is an amazing tour. Crazy Mike took us in a Lada - so much fun going in such a retro car. Mike has tons of interesting stories and brought everything to life. We enjoyed it very much and laughed a lot.

A step back into a different age - A really fascinating tour around the Nowa Huta area with Cornelia. Her stories and personal knowledge brought to life times gone by, with visits to shops and cafes making it like stepping back in time. The Trabbie made the whole thing a lot of fun. Thanks Cornelia. Highly recommended

A tour that works like a TIME MACHINE! - What a experience!!! I chose the 3.5 Deluxe tour to Nowa Huta, and I could not be happier I took this decision, and it absolutely worth the money. First off, my very polite and sweet guide pick me up in a original and very well kept DDR Trabant, she would drive me to Nowa Huta, the place is beyond beautiful, outstanding architecture, green areas where everything you breath is history about this place that's an colosal part of what is Poland today, with a very patient attitude and detailed attention she would explain the history behind this place using maps, pictures, and experiences told first hand by residents that lived through those hard times, then they will drive you to the Civil Defense bunkers, the smell, the dim lights, the colder temperature once you are walking downstairs it's an incredible experience, it really works like a TIME MACHINE! dont ever miss it, last not for least, we go to eat "pierogis" a typical Polish dish, I highly recommend to order "pierogis" filled with spinachs! delicious and affordable meal that will switch on your Polish side! Greateful to Crazy Guides for this experience.

Wonderful experience a blast was had. - Fantastic experience. Great tour really enjoyed it. I booked this tour and a lovely bubbly young lady picked us up from the Radission hotel. The adventure began. I am very interested in the communist era and this was amazing. We had coffee in a coffee house went to the shops well preserved. The car oh wow was so cool. My parter had vodka as I don’t drink alcohol and that was cool. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of doing it. I wanted to experience Banksy so the lovely lady kindly dropped us off at the museum. Very informative interesting and fun morning in Krakow. Was very happy we got to do something a little different. Thanks for amazing day. 5 stars from Ireland. Just loved Krakow until Our next visit.

Very disappointed. Very overpriced - Disappointed with this trip. Overpriced for a short tour. It was informative but nothing special. Can easily be done on your own. The tour guide was lovely but we felt rushed. Not at all impressed. It’s not fun or crazy just information and a spin in an old soviet car.
