Worth a visit, take a tour - Very interesting museum. I would suggest you take a tour as our guide really added to the experience telling us things that weren't in the displays and pointing out particular things of interest. Although it is set in the factory it is not just about Schindler but the wider experience of Krakow during the war years. I did not catch the name of our guide but he was Polish/Australian and was excellent. He obviously had a very wide knowledge of the subject.

So much info - What can you say except what an important piece of history this is. Oscar Schindler saved 1200 Jews by having them work at this factory and not working for brutal Nazi regime. I'm sure everybody has seen the film "Schindlers List" and the movie doesn't even come close to that overwhelming feeling of actually seeing the pace all in its entirety. The displays within the building are of the German Occupation and you will also get to know some of the Jews that survived as a result of Schindler. If you do ever go to Krakow then make the factory and the death camps top of your list to visit.

Great! - Excellent tour. Slightly different to what we expected as the guided tour centered more around daily living during Nazi occupation and not much about Oskar Schindler. However, this actually seemed to be better as it was very interesting, informative and the guide we had was incredible. So happy with the purchase and the remaining ghetto wall was just down the road. Would highly recommend!

Very good tour guide with... - Very good tour guide with clear commentary on the tour. Arrived at the meeting point and guides were waiting ready to issue our headsets which was good and didn't have to hang around. Enjoyed the tour and thought it was good value for money.

Visit 16/05/2024 - Interesting and thought provoking - we were there over 4 hours - many exhibits and comments - signage could have been better - recommend an early visit as got busy with tour parties and teenagers - believe that this is part of school education! It would have been better if ear phones were used with the guide using hi fi! Overall a must see if in Krakow!

Ladies man: Schindler - Lots of history and inspiring stories. I would recommend to see the movie Schindler’s list before going. Good but I just wish they talked a little more about Schindler himself. They do talk about him, but really half of the museum is more on what led to the holocaust. The way they explain it is that they show you what led to the holocaust and then some inspiring stories that came out of the holocaust one of them being Schindler. All in all it was a good tour.

Disappointing tour - This tour was disappointing, it was double booked. The guide did her best to delay us or speed us up to facilitate other tours. The tour was misleading as it contained very little about schlindler .

Don't use Discover Krakow - I booked this tour through TripAdvisor thinking all would be well. My money was quickly taken and my reservation confirmed. A few weeks later we got a message saying the tour was full so we had to change times from 2:20pm to 10:20am. I had other tours booked so had to change these to accomodate. We were told to be there 10 mins early. The Guide arrived 10mins after the tour start time (so 20mins late) and so we had missed our slot. We had to wait another 20 mins for a slot to get in and were then behind a large school party. Our Guide then started to rush us through the exhibition, hardly explained anything, said things like "this is a gun - but not original". "This is a photo of a smiling lady" ! "Let's rush past these exhibits as they are not very interesting". We were extremely disappointed with the whole experience (what a waste of money) and had to leave the tour at the time when it should have ended (half an hour lost) as we had other things booked. I wrote to Discover Krakow to explain my disappointment and they said they were sorry to hear it but they have a company policy not give refunds. Do yourself a favour, spend you money with one of the other tour companies who may actually care about the experience they give you.
