Krakow cooking class - So much fun! Thomas was a gracious and entertaining host! The pierogies came out better than my mothers'. We can't wait to make them again for the family.

Great day, lots of food, learning a recipe, meeting new people! - What a fun and unexpected day. We met at designated time and place and walked to an amazing outdoor market. I was twilight how to pronounce our ingredients in Polish so that I could order from the merchants in the stalls. Then a quick ride back to Katarzyna’s home where she made us appetizers (that we had purchased) as well as some cold polish beer. Not only did we learn how to make wonderful perogies, we ate them as well! There was even traditional polish dessert before she sent us back to our hotel. Everything I mentioned, even the uber back, was included in the price. And it is always a treat to spend time with people who live in the place you are visiting.

A great cooking experience - Kate is a great teacher and hostess. We went to the old market and bought ingredients for the dumplings then took a taxi to her apartment. There were 4 in our group and we all took turns making the pierogis. Quite fun and I believe I learned enough to make them when I get home and that was my goal!!

Making pierogi like a local - Our pierogi-making experience with Anna Maria was so unique and interesting. She first led us through a local market where she picked out the fresh ingredients for our pierogi, then we took the tram and finally rode by car to her home. We were elbow-deep in kneading pierogi dough very soon after we arrived, interspersed with the occasional sip of beer. First we made the potato, onion, cheese filling and Anna made sure we knew the technique to seal them so they wouldn't fall apart when steamed, then fried. Our eventual meal of vegetarian and fruit pierogi was delicious. We would recommend this experience with Anna Maria to everyone visiting Krakow, a people connecting experience.

Great pierogi experience! - Anna Maria Homa hosted us at her place to make pierogis. We had a blast and Anna was fantastic. Anna was a great teacher and also just a lovely person to visit with. We learned a great deal about pierogi making, and also more about Poland, Krakow and the people. Lovely time.

Making Pierogi with Alicja - I had a delightful hands on experience making pierogi with Alicja as a teacher. With Sue and myself we prepared the ingredients and Alicja guided us. The result was a tasteful pierogi that will happily live in the annals of my memory. Alicja helped me make my tour of Poland unforgettable.

Super Unique and Yummy Experience! - This was such a unique travel experience. Kasia met us at our hotel and we walked to the market. She taught us how to pronounce the words for the foods we were shopping for and we purchased our ingredients together. From there we went to her apartment. It was super interesting just to talk to a local to learn more from her about life in Poland. The whole experience is made intimate because it's a small group. It just felt like hanging out with friends and having a meal. Everyone equally participates in the process (unless someone prefers to just watch) and the pierogi were delicious. Far better than any pierogi we ate during our 2 weeks in Poland. Plus, she e-mailed us the recipe after we left. Absolutely do not hesitate to book this fun experience. This was a highlight of the trip.
