Interesting - Very interesting visit. Exciting to be able to see the picture of the Lady with ermine so closely, although I expected it smaller as a painting. Almost like the Mona Lisa. Comunque consiglio una visita!

Great museum and exhibition - I spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here, on a Saturday afternoon. The exhibits include artefacts from the royal family, as well as ancient Greek sculptures. Included in the paintings are the Rembrandt and Da Vinci. As mentioned by others, I would recommend getting the audio guide.

A fine Museum of History and Art not just for art lovers. - This is much more than an art gallery. It is a history museum with fine exhibits, including Egyptian artefacts and many stunning exhibits dating back centuries. The museum itself is in a fine building with great facilities, including facilities for those with disabilities/mobility issues. Well worth a two-hour visit. I would highly recommend it. You don’t need to be a lover of art to enjoy a visit to this museum. Would strongly suggest that you pay the PLN 10 extra for the audio guide in English. It is of excellent quality and you will be lost without it. Photography is permitted (without flash).

A must-see! - Yes there is a da Vinci painting and Rembrandt painting and they are stunning to see in person. but there is SO much more! This museum has some amazing artwork and the museum itself is beautiful. I went on Tuesday (free) and paid for the audio tour. Even better they have a kids audio tour so my 5 year old did that one and she loved it! This is a can’t miss if you are Krakow. Took about 2 hours to complete.

Ultimate Exhibit! - It's the 3rd da Vinci painting I've observed and I my mind it is the Best! Unlike the Mona Lisa where a protective shield has been placed in front of the painting thus difficult to see, the Lady with Ermine is displayed in a way the viewer can be very close with out crowds around. My husband and felt very privileged to view the masterpiece at a close range and linger for what felt like a long time! This was an ultimate experience in Krakow!

The masterpiece is devine - I got to the museum a little late, so I couldn't do most of it. But I went for Da Vinci's masterpiece, so , although sorry, not much was wasted. I found it funny (?) that you can't take a picture. whilst Mona Lisa's Louvre if winking for so many tourists' flashes. Polish are smarter. The keep a copy outside where you can take your picture beside it. What is to say about the painting? Who am I to add my judgement? Like everything else that is wortswhile, just go.

Lady with an hermine - This is a must see for art lovers and visitors that appreciate the work of Leonardo da Vinci. It's a masterpiece on a solo exhibition with some background information about the painting itself...what more do you need? We visited on the 31st in the afternoon and it was quiet, just a small group of people were passing through. The museum offers other exhibitions, cafe and toilets on site as you would expect.

DA VINCI IN KRACOW - We had the chance to see the main painting alone. So, if you can, try to reserve the visit at 10 am and then go straight to the DaVinci room (if you are interested). Then you can taste the rest of the museum, that is really interesting, with calm.

We are not happy with the... - We are not happy with the service provided by Discover Krakow. We rang them up to find out which was the nearest collection point to where we were. When we got there we were told that they had run out of 1 day city cards. They call another venue but their computers were down. So I called again Discover Cracow and after a long time holding the line, we were told to go to another point of collection in 30 minutes so they could deliver the cards. We finally got the City cards at nearly Midday. We were under the impression that having this pass meant free entry and queue jumping. However, at Schindler's museum we had to queue for an hour under the baking sun.
