Pretty painted houses, striking town hall and fabulous wooden churches - The minimum number to join a group being two, I had to book a private tour, and my driver Wojciech was pleasant. Zalipie was cute with its pretty painted houses. I enjoyed visiting three houses as part of the museum; luckily I was able to tag along with someone who had an English-speaking guide, as otherwise there is no information. Tarnow is not touristic: the main square is picturesque, restaurant terraces surrounding the striking town hall, now a museum. I'd researched things to see, so I went to see two fabulous wooden churches and Bimah, the remains of the old synagogue. There was ample time for lunch, and I enjoyed some tasty potato pancakes.
