Everything was salt. ... - Everything was salt. Unbelievable. The guide Camilla was superb, Michal who provided the private transport was on time, providing a seamless transfer to the door.

Superb experience - thoroughly recommended - Fantastic experience from beginning to end, Thoroughly recommend it, but be aware there are over 800 ,reasonably well lit & sturdy, wooden steps to climb down & the tour pace is not slow. It is well worth the physical effort to see the sculptures & experience this extraordinary place.

Great Trip to the Salt Mine - Don't miss this excursion. It a beautiful place. Lots of steps walking down but elevator up! Our driver Tomek was very nice and accommodating! I really recommend the Salt Mine!

Brilliant Salt mine trip - Brilliant tour. Got collected from our hotel and dropped off at the salt mine. Our driver had our tickets ready walked up to the entrance with us and give us the instructions and where to meet after the tour was finished. Tour was great and trip was so well organized we finished and met our driver at the meeting point. So well organized.

LOTS of steps. - Daniel our driver was on time. He did get us water for the trip since there was none in the car when I asked. We often do private tours with Viator and there usually is water for the drive. Our tour guide inside the mine spoke clearly and she was pleasant. However, the tour groups are way too big at 40. If you are near rear of group it is impossible to hear her. My husband stayed in rear since his knees are not so good as to not hold anyone up. So he did not hear more than 1/2 the info.

Fascinating tour into the salt mines - A fascinating visit into the salt mine. The private car collected us on time and took us to the attraction and then took us back after to a destination of our choice inn the city.
The tour itself was fascinating, giving great insight into the life of the mines and the miners. Was quite crowded so the speed of the tour was a bit quicker than would be optimal to see the full sights. Guide was fantastic and knowledgeable. Different groups are very close together. This will happen for every tour operator as it is the mine itself that dictates the closeness of the parties.

Visit the salt mine for sure but buy it on your own. - I really enjoyed visiting the salt mines and thought the history was fascinating. Our driver was on time and very nice. However, I bought the private transfer to the Salt Mine that also included tickets and the way I read it I thought we had a private guide/tour. Viator charged me $284 for 3 adults. What we got was a nice private transfer but we were part of the regular tours at the mine, which was in English with about 35 people. I could have taken an Uber round trip and paid for the tickets online on my own and it would have been $120 for the 3 of us.
As far as the tour, I would suggest that you try to get a male tour guide. We had a woman (with a high pitch voice) that was nearly impossible to hear with the size of the group and the acoustics of the mine. There isn't other information like an audio guide or written program so if you miss what the tour guide is saying you really miss a lot of context. I was apprehensive about the description of all the stairs and the depths of the mine. It was really very easy, a lot of walking down but not vigorous. The air in the mine was fresh and I was not at all claustrophobic.

Total rip off - We feel that we were totally ripped off for this trip.
For a disabled entry plus helper to the mines was $55
An uber was $32 return.
You charged us $249
Disability is bad enough but to be treated this way is terrible!
You have made 250% profit
If you have a conscience you will give us a refund amount - please!
