Great personal service - Visited the saltmines on our recent trip to Krakow and used the private transfer service. Driver had a very good understanding of English and was very knowledgable. Encouraging us to come back in the summer months and showed us pictures of the mountain villages ...just beautiful. We felt safe in the car as he was a very good driver. Would def recommend using this service rather than trying to navigate public transport and the plus is the knowledgable drivers

Amazing Experience - We visited the Salt-Mines on our final day in Krakow and all I can say is WOW, we were collected from our hotel on time and the driver was very friendly. When we arrived there was a delay but this was down to it being so busy , so I would definitely recommend that you book a guided tour before you go. Our guide was amazing and was very knowledgeable about the mines which helped a lot , the whole place is breathtaking especially the Chapel. It’s around 2.5 half hours so definitely wear comfortable walking shoes. There is so much to see that I couldn’t possibly fit it all in , in this review so I definitely recommend a visit. I know I’ll be going back to visit again

great experience - The great experience started with the bus that came to pick us up at the hotel, right on time. the mines are beautiful and our guide was interesting and very funny. He told us that the salt mines are no longer salt mines - they are gold mines and the gold is us - the tourists... at the end of the tour in the mines the bus took us back to krakow, to the place we wanted to visit.

Professional Guidance through history of mining - Going to the saltmine with a guide needs a lot of fitness. English tours start every ½ hour. And then you walk through nearly a thousand years of history into the mountain for 2½ hours, mostly downstairs. The exhibition is very professional, so was our guide. As a guest you experience, that this place has been opened for tourist for more than a hundred years. The set-up is professional, the exhibition answers every modern historian wishes. Don't miss out on this.

Weekend trip to Krakow - The trip organiser/driver was excellent as was the guide but I felt that the tour was over long with a lot of walking and steps. The carvings in the mine were magnificent

Saltmine visit - Excellent although you have to be very fit, 384 steps down to enter the mine although you get a lift back up although the walk from the end of the tour to the lift is 15 minutes. In total I think they said you'll walk 2.1km during the tour which is rough 1 1/4 miles. If you can manage it, it's worth it though, some excellent statues and hard to believe you're so far under ground. It's probably a bit too long, it was probably 2.5 hours when 1.5 hrs would probably have been enough although you do get a number of short breaks throughout.

Interesting but over long - Interesting but over long. We had limited time in krakow and whilst some areas had a wow factor one hour tour would have been enough for us.
