I’d do it again - I’ve done a lot of trips in Europe and this was by far one of the best ones ever. Just simply mind-boggling what the miners were able to create more than 350 feet below the surface. I definitely recommend this tour. Remember to turn on your WhatsApp notifications because that is how the driver will communicate with you for pickup.

First class trip from start to finish - First class service from start to finish. We were picked up on time outside our hotel and taken to the salt mines by a very informative driver. We were then given a packed lunch to eat in the park area near the entrance to the mine. This was delicious. The tour of the mines took around 2 hours and was given by Roman a very knowledgeable guide. The mines are fantastic and well worth a visit. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing as it is around 15c in the mine. We were then taken back to the Krakow and had the option of either being dropped off in the main square or at our hotel. All in all a wonderful experience and recommended to others.

Great half day outing from Krakow - The carvings and how hard the miners must have worked to make the tunnels. The transportation to the mines and the excellent guide at the Salt Mines made for an enjoyable tour.

Great Trip - The mines are only about 40 minutes from Krakow so it is an easy place to visit for half or full day. Amazing to learn that salt has been mined since the mid 1600's. Very informative guide. Surprising to see how large some of the caverns are. They are cavernous. You have to walk down about 800 steps ending up 130 metres from the surface. However there is a lift when you have finished the tour to take you back up to the surface. An enjoyable day.

Good tour, VERY overpriced - The tour itself was good, as well as the driver. However it was very overpriced at 355złoty (£71) for hotel pickup plus a “lunch box”. As with other Krakow day tours I was informed of an updated pickup time within 24 hours of departure. The hotel pickup was fine but it took a long time to go around different hotels in the old town and then to arrive at a pickup point right outside of the old town where we got on another van. I imagined it would be time efficient (and probably more economical) to an option to join at that pickup location. On the return trip I did not even get the option to go back to my hotel as the driver could not drive into the old town. The “lunch box” was a ripoff and a lesson worth £12. It was a tiny bag of one sandwich, one supermarket croissant, one orange, one bottle of water and a few random sweets. I felt hungry very soon and anyone could get more food in London with this money. Very disappointed. The tour itself does not cover the museum. I was picked up at 7:50am and got back to the drop off point outside of old town by noon. I imagine if the tour wasn’t scheduled for only half a day it would be nice to see the museum too. Not the worst experience but if I visit the salt mine again I am definitely going there by myself.

Just okay - It was fun to see the mines but the acoustics, tour group size, and other neighboring tour groups made it hard to hear/understand what our guide was saying so we didn’t learn much. Our driver was great and it was nice to be picked up and dropped off in the city so the convenience was worth it but not a great tour.

I booked the guided tour... - I booked the guided tour with a hotel pick up but I was left behind and missed the tour and the opportunity to visit the salt mines because there was an organization mix up. Very disappointing.
