Wonderful experience - After receiving an update for a new pick-up location, the day before the trip, we were collected on time by a very friendly driver. Taken to the salt mines. We had a short wait to start the tour, and then it's down the hundreds of wooden stairs to start the mine tour. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable after the tour it was a quirky ride to the surface in a little elevator/ lift which holds about 6 people.

A must see site with a great tour company! - What an amazing place to see! We were told by everyone that the Wieliczka Salt Mine was a must see if we were in Krakow and were they right! Expect a long walk down into the mine especially at the start of the guided tour, a LONG staircase down down into the mine. Then through numerous salt carved tunnels, you will see the salt statues carved by the miners of various historical figures in Polish history. Salt carved statue of Poland's Pope John Paul II holds a special heart for the Polish people. Then at the final, you enter a church/chapel that is huge! Weddings can be held with 700 people in their banquet hall, can't image if one gets a bit too happy during the wedding on how they would get back up to the surface. But to get back up, you get into a small elevator, max 5 per, for the ride up to the surface. The ride took 30 sec! One woman in our elevator was so nervous, she actually was shaking during the ride! BTW, pickup and drop off by the SeeKrakow driver was excellent!

Salt mine , group visit. - Very busy as to be expected, however the organization was spot on. Parking for the minibus was instant, then up-to the entrance to meet our guide and we were ready to go. Our guide spoke excellent English and management of the groups was excellent so there was no long waits between the areas. Lots of walking as to be expected (you’re in a mine) but good restroom and refreshment stops along the way. The guide answered every question with such enthusiasm you would have thought it was his first time. At the end of the tour excellent organization again back to the minibus. It goes without saying the spectacle of that place is breathtaking. We travelled with Mr Shuttle who were excellent and would thoroughly recommend.

A must see when you visit Krakow. - This place was amazing, the guide spoke excellent English and the group size was perfect to see and hear everything. Well worth a visit. The operators communication was a lacking after we came back out of the mine - but the group quickly worked out we needed to meet back at the tour bus. Overall excellent.

Lots of steps but worth it all - Pick up very organised and punctual. Salt mines were very interesting- our guide had a really good about the mines served with a little humour…..just perfect. Salt mines give a very good idea of how life was back in the days before electricity and automation. Drive is about 30 mins from Krakow and tour takes around 2 hours with 2 short breaks. Lots of steps down to the mine(800 steps). Definitely worth a visit

U would need to be fit for this tour not suitable for young kids - Pick up on time comfortable bus. Alot of waiting about to get on the tour when we got there. The tour itself was rushed not giving people enough time to take all in . My partner done this tour 15 years ago and couldn't believe how rushed it was compared to the last time he done it .

Salt Mines are very interesting! - Incredibly interesting tour. Well led by the guide (Agnes). I was very impressed by the Salt Mines. It’s not easy to ring Poland to confirm we will go on the trip. Phone was often busy. Maybe allow messenger/email/whatsapp message to give contact details. We arrived at 9. The lady ticking off names didn’t speak loudly and just started reading out names. Many guests missed their names. Maybe a device to increase the volume of her voice, or a flag etc to attract attention before reading names. Our bus didn’t arrive for 20 mins. Buses are a little cramped. Wouldn’t suit tall people.

Don't use viator for auschwitz - Booked to visit auschwitz through viator, dreadful experience. We booked for 12:10 midday and fortunately noticed a message in the app the night before which said they had changed our time to 6:40 am pick up. Also the tickets stated fast track with no queue, well that was a lie and the guides English wasn't great, we just could not understand her as she spoke so fast and she whisked us around at the same speed. I'm truly disappointed as I've waited years to visit auschwitz
