Then, team up with a guide and a group of no more than 30 people in the Salt Mine for an educational and enjoyable tour. The guided tour takes roughly 2 to 2.5 hours. Excellent tour - Great experience very hard going as you walk 2.4KM
The lift at the end is an experience in it self.
354 steps down to start the tour.

Excellent guide - Our guide was informative, funny and excellent. The tour might have been too long for our teens, but the adults enjoyed it tremendously.

Don’t miss - Wieliczka was amazing, it’s the highlight of our trip to Krakow. The driver, Marcin, took a great care of us, getting us to and from the mine, visiting interesting sites along the way and sharing his passion for history with us. We also got a good dining recommendation out of it :)

Interesting history and art - Prompt and friendly hotel pickup. Great tour with special mention of our tour guide Veronica who handled a difficult situation with an unruly tour member very professionally. Interesting history and great art. Well worth it.

Great trip - Excellent trip to the salt mine. Wictor our driver was great and the tour guide at the salt mine was also great. I think her name was Veronica? Very interesting and huge, lovely and cool inside when it was boiling outside!

Excellent Tour - Everything about the tour was excellent from being picked up at hotel to being dropped off. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and highlighted spots along the way of interest. Salt Mines were outstanding. Well worth it and would definitely recommend.

Wictor did a great job and looked after us well - Wictor picked us up bang on time. He's super friendly, speaks great English and chatted with us all the way there and back. We felt very safe in his mini bus and would happily go on a tour with him again. Thank you Wictor!

Great experience with Jerry. - Jerry was not only a driver but very experienced guide. He arranged the tour of the mine for us and showed many memorable places in Krakow on the way to the mine and back to the hotel. A very warm, caring and knowledgable guy. We highly recommend Jerry as your guide in Krakow.

A great experience - The arrangements for the hotel pick up was perfect. Once we got the salt mines, our driver Lucas arranged our tickets for entry plus the guide Zinka who would lead and provide the information about the mine. It was was well organised and Zinka tried hard to keep us away from the other groups so we weren't on top of them. At times I couldn't always hear her properly but you could ask her questions when there was a spare moment. The tour of the mine was amazing and I loved every part of it. Well worth doing. We were well looked after.

Mostly transportation - This tour picked us up from our hotel which was very convenient. There were 6 passengers total in the van and we were given individual tour tickets for the mine. The tour was fascinating and we loved seeing all things made of salt. At the end of the mine tour you are given a choice to exit or continue onto the museum, enjoy the underground restaurant or the gift shop. We were not all in one group so what would happen if some people had gone on or others not? We had a very hard time finding our driver as he had moved to a new location. We walked around aimlessly outside, which was very hot. So the tour was great but transportation confusing
