Yet another very well organised trip by 'Hello Cracow', a must-do trip while in Cracow - After first experienced a great trip organised by 'Hello Cracow' to Auschwitz, yet another very well organised trip to the salt-mine with again very nice and professional people. Very impressive to walk the many stairs (down) and observe all the 'things to see' while being deep underground in the mine and meanwhile hearing all the great information on the history of the mine and its people. I was here before for a 'business event' but only visited one room or so, this trip was 100x better.

Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour - This is a great tour to learn about the salt mines and their history, and to see the main chapel with beautiful salt sculptures and carvings. Our tour guide, Gosia, was outstanding and made the whole experience really enjoyable.

Nightmare of a day - The tour company contacted us the evening before to communicate pick up time & we were told we would be back at 3pm. Our flight home was the same day & we had to leave for the airport at 5.30pm & had plans to do other stuff before we left. When the driver picked us up & brought us there, we were told that we were supposed to be doing our tour at 11.30am, but we had to actually wait until 1pm to do it. It was a two hour tour, which meant it was only finishing at 3pm. There are big queues for the lift back up to the main entrance & it takes some time to get there. Because of this; it was 5pm when we got back to the city centre. It messed up our other plans before heading to the airport. The tour itself, was cool to see the chapel made from salt, but apart from that, I didn’t think it was anything special or even that interesting.
