Wieliczka Salt Mine - Sightseeing with a local guide takes approximately 2.5 hours. It starts at Level 1 of the salt mine (64 meters deep underground). We will walk around 2 kilometers, visiting around 20 breath-taking chambers surrounded by salt in all shades of grey, black, and white, and two majestic chapels. One of them is one of the most famous chapels in Poland
the Chapel of St. Kinga. The Chapel of St. Kinga is the heart of the mine. It is filled with amazingly illuminated religious bas-relief sculptures carved in salt. During the trip, you will have a unique opportunity to taste the salt on your lips, experience the pure silence, and finally, listen to the stories of the history of the mine. Once the sightseeing is over, we will take the elevator to go back to the surface. You will be delivered to your place of departure.

Amazing. - Went to the salt mines with Magnetic Tours, wonderful experience even though my husband is claustrophobic. Pick up was punctual, lovely vehicle and the driver spoke extremely good English. We joined a group of about 30 people with an English speaking guide who was very helpful. We had plenty of time to look around and did not feel rushed as some reviews had suggested. It is a truly amazing place and we were pleased not to have been put off by some reviews and the fact that there are a lot of stairs. We are in our 70’s and managed no bother. We were taken back to the surface in a lift by ourselves due to my husband's claustrophobia. The driver was waiting when we arrived at the pick up spot. Excellent organisation by Magnetic tours, we would not hesitate to recommend this tour company.
