Fantastic - A thoroughbred enjoyable and informative tour with excellent guide. The museum was well presented but be aware you need to be quite fit to do this as you cover a king distance walking over 3 hours.

A marvel - It is amazing that people manually excavated to a depth of over 300 meters below ground in what you would call a labyrinth of tunnels and vast chamber's at extreme hight too. The structure is wondrous. I will not say what has been created at the depths on several levels as it will spoil visitors going to see such feet’s achieved. By the way you walk down but come back up in one of the original mine lifts, so don’t panic. Well worth the visit. Just to let visitors know there is restoration work going on at the extreme depth. I was allowed and other tourists, with a guide down to 165 meters.

Not to be missed - This is a great place, so much bigger than you think, You only do 1 percent of the Mine on the tour, Definitely a must visit,

Must visit - Whilst visiting Krakow I highly reccomended taking the walking tour of the salt mine. I was not to bothered about going but really glad I went. This is a 2 hour tour which explores various chambers within the mine. It is accessible to most as one of our party is partially sighted.(allowed to use the lift) It does however have many steps (managable) and no problem. I will not spoil it by telling you what you see but this is well worth the visit. Can be a little rushed

“Small group” is 30 + people. - Transport was online and contact via WhatsApp was reliable. Was in a “small group” tour but had 30 people in. The tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. Stopped at lots of check points to discuss the history and signpost parts of the mine. Being in a group with 30 made it difficult sometimes to see and hear the tour guide but was okay. Mixture of ages and abilities, so some who struggled to walk stairs and for long duration struggled. I would emphasise that this tour is a lot of walking and listening. Young children who came with family were very disruptive due to being bored and unstimulated. There was hundreds of steps down and then long tunnels to walk through.

Guided tour - Spectacular place to visit but be prepared for a staircase descent of 400 steps. It goes in a square spiral. The lift back up is interesting - they squeeze (quite literally) 9 of you in to a cage.
