A great day in Bonaire! - What an amazing day! Everything was perfectly catered to our preferences. Julia and James were wonderful. We had great snorkeling spots. Lunch was yummy. They were so kind to my 83 year old mom and she had a great day too. She loved swimming and floating in the hammock chairs in the water on the back of the catamaran. I so appreciate our trip and would highly recommend Life at 8 knots without any concerns!

Wonderful experience on Bonaire waters. - We chartered for the entire day with friends and family and the experience was fantastic! Julia and James are wonderful hosts. It was a fantastic combination of great sailing, food, drinks, company and I can speak for the entire group that we would recommend it to anyone. Our friends had never been on a sailboat before and they loved it!

An Amazing Sailing Trip! - I cannot speak highly enough of this trip. The crew provided an excellent experience with a smooth ride, delicious snacks, beverages, and a delightful lunch. There was ample space for everyone to relax and make the most of our day on the water. The snorkeling experience was truly phenomenal! We visited two different spots with crystal-clear waters and breathtaking sights. Stephanie went above and beyond, providing insights and fascinating facts about the marine life we encountered. The crew exhibited remarkable patience, especially with our children during snorkeling. Our youngest was initially nervous, but they were incredibly understanding and helped him relax, ensuring he had a wonderful time exploring the reef. If we have the opportunity to return, I will choose this company again! I'm particularly intrigued by their dinner cruise with a chef, which, unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy on this occasion.

The Best Last Day in Bonaire - Julia and James were the best hosts, allowing us time to enjoy the ride, swim, snorkel, and dive. The catamaran is beautiful and we had the best time enjoying our day on the water. I can't say enough about Julia and James, except that if you are in Bonaire, be sure to save a day to go out with them. I'm so glad we did. Can't wait to come back and visit with you again!

Don't miss Life at 8 Knots while in Bonaire - Life at 8 knots provided our group with an unforgettable experience. We booked an all day private charter and a separate sunset cruise. We enjoyed great food, views,diving, and a lot of laughs. Diving, snorkeling with their very experienced team and next level chef prepared dinner stand out above the already outstanding service. I cannot recommend them enough.

Amazing half day charter and a memorable experience for the family! - We were lucky enough to book the last February charter with James and Julia to surprise my sister for her 40th birthday. We definitely made some core memories for the kids and this trip will absolutely be one of the best birthday celebrations for my sister. James, Julia and Chef Leo were a huge part of that! Julia's communication throughout the booking process and her attention to detail during the charter were amazing. She really made sure we were being looked after and always had an eye on the kids and we truly appreciated it all. James was amazing. He swam and snorkelled along with our group to make sure we were all safe and the kids absolutely loved him! He was so kind, funny and knowledgeable and the two of them together are such an adorable couple. We felt like we were with friends. Chef Leo was incredible. The food just kept coming. We had pretzels and guacamole waiting for us when we boarded and our 3 course dinner was so delicious and so generously portioned that we were all annoyed that we had eaten lunch before the charter because we couldn't eat all of it in one sitting. The ceviche, steak and shrimp, cheesecake and birthday cake were so amazing. We were able to bring the left overs home and it made for a delicious lunch the next day. We were sad that the wind didn't allow for us to visit Klein Bonaire but the snorkelling spot that James took us to did not disappoint. The whole experience overall was just unforgettable and I was also pleasantly surprised to get a video of our trip that Julia put together. Our only regret is that we didn't book a full day tour! Thank you again Captain James, First Mate Julia and Chef Leo. You really outdid yourselves and our family is forever grateful for your hospitality! We would definitely book with you again if we find ourselves back in Bonaire or wherever the wind decides to take you next.

Best experience on Bonaire - from a local point of view ! - We spent our 4th wedding anniversary on the Lost Cat, we an afternoon dive and sunset cruise. As we live on Bonaire, we tried many different experiences but the time we spent with Julia & James yesterday was just outstanding from every other things we did here. They tailored the afternoon and evening perfectly to our needs and requests. I felt like a princess on board. The dive was amazing and new (even though I dove every week on Klein for 2 years as a Divemaster)!!! The food was just wonderful, tasteful, well thought, plenty enough and that just says a lot coming from a French person ! On our ride home with my husband, we told each other we could never top that wedding anniversary with anything else on the island and just decided we should spend it every year on the Lost Cat ❤️ Thank you Julia & James, this was just perfect! Oh and that espresso martini? I'll keep dreaming about it, we'll done !

Private Catamaran and Snorkeling - Beautiful day sailing in Bonaire with a great crew & owners. Drinks and lunch from a private chef on board were delicious. Pristine Caribbean water for snorkeling and swimming were the highlight. Excellent communication from Julia to plan our trip and any special requests. She puts in great detail to amenities on the boat. Highly recommend.
