Awesome tour of Bonaire - We had a great tour of the island of Bonaire in the comfort of an airconditioned van! Our tourguide Resine took us all over the island and shared lots information about beautiful Bonaire! We enjoyed every stop and had plenty of time to take pictures. We really liked that we were in a small group, as we never had to wait for lots of people to return to a big bus. Perfect tour!!

Bonaire Tour - We enjoyed our tour & saw a lot of the island. Our tour guide was very informative . The best part was the donkeys just walking around . Loved all the different colors on the island. Great tour.

Good knowledgable guide. - We had a wonderful personalized tour of Bonaire. Our guide, Amy, was prompt, pleasant, and knowledgeable. We stopped to take many pictures and made the best of things as it was a Sunday and not everything is open. Only drawback was the very old, not so clean vehicle. She said the company was getting a new vehicle. You might ask about this if it is a concern for you. There were only 4 of us, so 3 in a back seat.

Bonaire North and South - Not only was the tour guide really good, but the bus driver just as good. A small group was so much better than a Celebrity line huge tour. If you are planning Bonaire stop, take this tour.

Great communication and the tour went really well. - I contacted Shekhinah Tours to arrange a private tour for a shore excursion while we were in Bonaire. Communication was quick and easy and everything went well with our private tour. Oscar, our guide, did a great job. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bonaire.

Everyone has had a first day at work. - Our driver was excellent. He was training a young man, very nice but was not sure of his facts. He needs more time listening to the driver. We would have liked to hear more history and useless facts. The trip was a little too long. Really enjoyed the salt flats area.

Bonaire a beautiful island - We think Bonaire is a beautiful island. The history is rich, the views incredible, the people are very friendly. Also, the concern to protect the environment is impressive and the forward thinking of solar power, wind energy and new farming technologies is encouraging. Our tour was a bit disappointing, the air conditioning didn’t work on the van, the guide was hard to understand due to a inadequate sound system, broken English, the windows on the van open so it it made it a struggle to hear. If the guide would have been more mindful to speak directly into the microphone this would have helped. He didn’t seem concerned about the passengers being uncomfortable and never inquired if we could hear him or understood him. An apology for the condition of the vehicle would have helped too.

Bus broke down, piddly refund. - Trip started out nicely with visit to salt flats. An hour later, bus broke down at furthest point. Over 2 hours for service vehicle to arrive (and couldn't get bus started) and new transportation to bring us back to starting point. Tour guide and driver were fine, but their head office should have sent taxis to pick up passengers, knowing that there was a 30+minute drive for service vehicle to reach us, without any guarantee of a quick repair. Offered a $10 USD per person refund on a $60 trip. Nope.

Cancelled tour time, rebooked us without our consent. Waiting for refund. - We booked our tour for a noon pick up from our cruise ship port. We were in transit and without internet. It was only after we got off our ship and the tour did not pick us up, that we search for Wifi. They cancelled our tour for noon that day and automatically rebooked us for the earlier morning tour without our consent or knowledge. They rebooked us with the early morning time less than 24 hours before our tour. Of course we did not make the tour. They only changed our time after they processed our payment. I am waiting for the approval for the full refund, especially since we never were able to take the tour. As we had booked this tour weeks in advance, the tour company should have known then.

Stressful - The island is beautiful, the people are so friendly. Our tour was stressful. The driver had a bus that had issues with the door closing so we had to manually help him close it at each stop. He would sometimes forget to close it and take off, we would have to call out to him to close the door. At 1000 steps beach he forgot to put the emergency brake on (clutch bus), so when when starting boarding the bus started rolling towards the cliff😳. The driver was not in the bus so I had to jump in the drivers seat to stop the bus from going over a cliff with about 8 people on board. He didn’t even say thank you. He also told us he had to get a running start to get up the hills, we then worried about his braking capability coming down the hill. It was just too stressful to enjoy……we wished we had seat belts
