Great tour from Savith our guide - It was great to see the real live in Battambang. Our guide Savith was the best. He knew a lot and was so friendly. We saw nice things and enjoyed the visits at the peoples houses. It was warm, but we had enough time to stop and drink. Thank you so much Savith for this great morning.

Absolutely recommended - The best bike ride in Battambang. Led by the highly trained and very helpful Pek, we took a dip in the authentic reality of Cambigia. With really good bikes we cycled out of town making stops in authentic contexts of craftsmanship and rice processing, as well as in one of the "killing fields" of the sad and recent history of this country. The tour is perfectly interspersed with excellent and welcome moments of break to refresh ourselves with water and fruit in quantity. Pek Great Guide and Cicero ready to satisfy every request and curiosity. The ride is really suitable for everyone, about 20 km in 5 hours. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, really good!

Fantastic experience! - Our guide Sophava was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable. His English was great and he was able to teach us a few things to say in Khmer. He taught us about the history of Cambodia because we had asked. We visited a married couple who make rice paper, a family distilling rice wine, a lady making banana crisps who was so friendly and accommodating, and lady making steamed sticky rice in bamboo canes. We also visited a haunting genocide memorial at one of Cambodia’s killing fields from the Khmer Rouge regime ending in 1978. This was all handled sensitively. At all times we felt safe and were given options. Water bottles were provided and we stopped for cold drinks and fruit refreshments where there were clean western style toilets. It is reassuring to know that whilst Soksabike support local makers, they are careful that they do not become reliant on tourism. It was one of the best days of our holiday. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Great tour through Battambang - Visiting the families was a very interesting and new (at least for us) experience. We were learning new things about Cambodia and the Khmer people. The families were all very friendly and welcoming. Sokasabike and Savith did a great job picking a well organised route, that wasn´t too long. We had a lot of fun and would recommend the tour to everyone visiting Battambang!

Best experience in Battambang - My day out biking and discovering local Cambodian culture with my tour guide Sophara was simply perfect. The bike ride is a nice gentle one, with many little breaks meeting local families, discovering their food business and tasting a lot of amazing things. Sophara was also very kind in explaining many things about Cambodian culture and food. Highly recommended.

Soksabi - What a beautifull experience this bycicle tour has been. Our guide Phalla told us about his country and the way of live of the Cambodian people. It was very interesting. I also love it that by making this tour Soksabike and us are giving back to the local families we visited.

Getting know the locals’s livelihood on bicycles - A really nice educational and scenic cycling around, visiting local families houses and learning about how they learn their living. Pallah was a great guide, he guided us on the bicycles in a good pace and safely. He has an extensive knowledge about the tour and the history. He made sure our water bottles were always full so we stayed well hydrated. We visited also killing fields and Pallah gave us the full history background. Highly recommended!

Dont leave Battambang without experiencing one of soksabike`s amazing tours! - So, I live in Japan and ride a lot. Been to Cambodia quite a few times but first time in Battambang. I wanted to ride so I made my way to the Soksabike office where I met Kanha, the office manager. Told her what I wanted and listened to her suggestions. And next day I turned up at the office to meet my guide, Phalla. Learned so much about Cambodia and the local people from him- things that are not in the guide books- on our 50km ride. He gave just the right amount of information- not too much that you you wish he would be quiet- not too little that you think that he has forgotten about you. This is a difficult balance and he got it just right. He also answered all my questions (lots of them ) honestly. Watching him interacting with the local people I can understand why Soksabike are well thought of in the area. Great day! So later that day, back to the office to speak to Kanha again. I wanted to go to Phnom Sampeau to see the the bat caves etc. the next day- but not by tuk-tuk. The end of the year is a busy time but Kanha said she would try and work somethng out. She did! Next day back to the office to meet my guide for the day, Phal. And off we went, through rice fields, on small roads and tracks, before we got to Phnom Sampeau. From Phal I learned a lot about the countryside, the things they grow etc. As with Phalla, his interactions with local people were impressive. We rode (and pushed) our bikes up to the top of Phnom Sampeau and then down to watch the bats leave at dusk to feed. Then it was time for us to leave and ride back to town in the dark, under a full moon. On top of Phnom Sampeau I got to see Phal use his first aid training when helping a guy who had had a fall. And I began to realize that the guides don't just introduce Cambodian culture to foreigners. They impact local people in many positive ways. This was another amazing day for me. So, what can I say about Soksabike? BIKES-- quality, well maintained bikes SAFETY--good helmets provided- safety talk given before heading off- guides carry first aid kits GUIDES--knowledgeable-great English-fun to travel with. OFFICE STAFF--friendly, helpful with lots of suggestions on what to do, where to go etc. If you're in Battambang I highly recommend checking them out. You won't be disappointed.
