Highlights

Battambang - Start our day by cycling through the peaceful town. Stop at the central market, built by during French colonization. Then continue to the former provincial hall built-in 1908 after claiming back from Thailand.
After that, continue our cycling to northern Battambang town to explore some other local unique products including rice paper making, and banana chips. Finally, learn in-depth about Buddhism in Cambodia by visiting one of the oldest Buddist monasteries.
Bamboo Train Battambang - The bamboo train is unique transportation for locals in this area. Formerly, people use this train to transport daily products from Battambang town to their villages. The train is made of bamboo and connects with a small engine. During the ride, it offers the best view of the Cambodia countryside and traditional stilted houses. The journey takes up one hour.
Mrs. Bun Roeung’s Ancient House - Visit one of the oldest houses with a beautiful deco.

Best Cambodian experience ! - This has been my favourite tour in south east Asia so far! It is so raw, authentic and unique from most other tourist experiences. Informative, friendly and passionate. 100% recommend !

Beautiful day in Battambang - The cycle tour was great. Jay was terrific -informative, fun, and managed traffic like a pro. The countryside and sites were just what we wanted. Even had a delicious lunch! Highly recommend.

Sunset bike tour with Sambath - We did the sunset tour with Sambath and had a great afternoon. He was a perfect guide with a good mix of humour and information and fantastic English. It was super hot but we had lots of hydration stops and snacks along the way so it was fine. We particularly loved the spot for watching the bats that was away from most of the tourists. Would definitely recommend!

Review of biking tour - I signed up for the biking tour in Battambang to explore the livelihood of the locals with a local tour guide, Sambath. With Sambath being a local and extensive knowledge, the tour was so eye-opening as i got to really experience first-hand the way the locals; I got a chance to enter into houses the locals live, tried the food the locals eat, visited local markets, got to know the kind of vegetables locals grow at home and so on. It was a brilliant day, visited all the local hidden gems in town. There is no better way to explore the town and experience the life as a local than this biking town. Highly recommend!
