Make the day count - David was our tour guide for a whole day tour through Battambang. We arrived from Siam Reap early in the morning and even three days later it is still a trip we like to think about. The day was completely packed with activities andDavid excused himself several times not having enough time to go into great details. Nevertheless I want to highlight that he covered everything and gave us all information in a nutshell. I will remember the story of how Battambang was founded forever and it was told this great that i am able to repeat it, even if you would wake me up in the middle of the night. Definitely a tour guide i can recommend from the bottom of my heart.
Cheers David

Couldn’t of asked for a better tour around Battambang - Excellent, well thought out day trip that covers so much of Battambang.
We got picked up at 7am from our accommodation. Our driver was very friendly and thoughtful (he even gave us fruit for the long and late night drive back).
Our tour guide, David, was absolutely brilliant. Not only did David cover everything listed in the tour with great detail and passion, but he also went out of his way to take us to some extra spots he thought we might like. We felt really immersed in the local culture, and came away with a much greater understanding of Cambodia’s history.
We enjoyed the frequent stops at local markets and restaurants for tasty cuisine, and even drove through the countryside to see the farmland.
David’s charisma made him the perfect, fun tour guide and he carefully answered all our questions.
Thank you so much for a fantastic day!

Excellent day. Long but... - Excellent day. Long but constantly active. Kim was a great guide, funny, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Never rushed. Made a few little stops to try local fruit or take pictures. Would recommend.

A must do experience - We recently did a full day Battambang trip, and it was a fantastic day out. Leaving from Siem Reap, we were collected punctually at 07:00 by our driver Tri, who took us to Battambang, where we met up with Kim, who was to be our Tuktuk driver and guide for the day. We started with a brief history of the city, then a trip to the local morning market. It was fantastic to see people selling and shopping in the same way they have for hundreds of years. Everything was on sale, from fresh produce to frogs, snails and snakes. We stoped for an excellent coffee, and then had a look at some of the French architecture around town. A stop at the Battambang statue followed, with Kim telling us the story of the magic stick, and how the city was named. Then off into the countryside to the Bamboo train, passing the swinging bridge along the way. The bamboo train was a highlight - What an experience! Therafter, off to Banan Temple, with its 365 steps. After a quick lunch on the water near the temple, we headed to the Golden temple on a hilltop, where we enjoyed the sunset, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. A short stroll to the Killing and Frog Caves, with their horrific history, and then back to the TukTuk and on to the Bat Cave, where we arrived just as millions of bats were streaming out of the cliff face on their evening feeding flight. A short trip to the highway to meet up with Tri again, and a 2.5 hour ride back to Siem Reap, arriving around 21:30. A full day, but an amazing one. Kim and Tri looked after us so well - Highly recommended.

A must do trip in Gambodia. 10/10 - Car came to pick us up on time. In Battambang we met our guide Kim. He was really friendly and very informative. He drove us around in his tuk tuk and explained the places (city area, statues, country side, mountain and the history etc.)
He answer all our questions about the culture and showed us also the local life. He also prepared us plenty of water for the hot day. The day didn't feel too long (I think it says 15h but time flew by). Food was also delicious. He spoke good english. Excellent guide, we would do this again anytime with Kim as our guide. Highly recommend.

Incredible day out - We had an amazing time with our guide David and driver Mr Chea. The ride to and from Battambang was smooth, safe and comfortable with Mr Chea, who was also very kind and offered to stop when we wanted and gave us fruit on the way home. When we got to Battambang the day was full of interesting stories and sights. David was so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable, and showed us some amazing places in Battambang. He has great knowledge of the area and would point out interesting things along our trip, making stops as he saw best for us. Would really recommend if you want one day in Battambang to see all key sights in a relaxed and efficient way!

A great but long day out - A really great day out. Picked up early in the morning from the hotel by Tree who was to be our driver for the day.
Met Kim our guide at Battambang who was having problems with his Tuk Tuk so was unable to drive us around as planned. It wasn't a problem as Tree took on the role as driver for the entire day.
There were a couple of unforeseen hiccups along the way but all of them were sorted with zero fuss and a smile.
Everything about the day was great but it is a lengthy drive day to and from Siem Reap which makes a very long day out.
Recommend this as a day out. Kim & Tree and really nice people.

Terrible day in Battambang - The suckest experience of my life. I feel like I wasted a day for nothing. The road cost me a lot, but I took the tickets anyway as on TripAdvisor it was a must visit. There's nothing to see! It's dirty, it stinks, dust everywhere, roads all broken, no place to walk. Very hot, little shade and air-conditioned places. Everything's expensive and it's not worth it. If you've seen everything in the world and you don't have to do anything anymore, you can visit it. Otherwise, go your way!
