Short but memorable experience in Battambang - We didn’t have much time in Battambang and can only get Mr Vatthana to do a half-day tour for us. We managed to experience the bamboo train and see the bat caves and he drove us around in a tuk tuk. Mr Vatthana is a safe driver and he speaks good English. Very humble and nice person. The climb uphill almost killed me lol, but he climbed it with us while sharing stories about Battambang and himself.

Best guide / driver in Battambang !! - Mr Vatthana is a very interesting and kind person. He helps us to discover the best place in Battambang. He speaks great English and is very comunicative. We have spent such a great day with him and felt he was like an old friend ! I highly recommend him and truly hope to meet him again !

Amazing - This tuktuk driver goes beyond than just driving you around. While we went to all the places he also told us about the background of Cambodia. I would higly recommend this man because of his knowledge of everything. Also his English is very well! We had a lovely day, Battambang is really nice place where you can get a good look at what cambodia is really about!

Great tour - Mean picked us up from the bus station to bring is to the hotel and it is a good habit to taken that driver alsof as a tour guide. We did and we bever regretted. He is not Just a driver but a real guide who can tell you a lot of stories about the history behind the sites he Will take you. I highly recommend him!

Amazing day. - The tour was so incredibly informative. I found Vatthana to be very knowledgeable about local history. He was also a pleasure to be around. Always smiling and very relaxed. He also brought us for spin around Battambang which was great to get layout of city. I would definitely recommend him as a driver and guide.

Amazing insight into Cambodian History. - I find it so rare that any guide in Cambodia is willing to speak about the complexities, the intricacies and the cultural history of this extremely beautiful, but brutal society. To be honest, the places we visited, although very beautiful and interesting, paled into insignificance with the sharp intellect and storytelling abilities of Vattana. He was able to explain to us in a very detailed manner what influences and reasons, as well as international pressures, that brought Cambodian society to the eruption of the tragedies of recent events. We are leaving Battambang tomorrow with a feeling of connection that you just can’t establish in Shopping Malls and fancy hotels. I really feel as if we met the soul of Cambodia in Vattana’s tuc tuc today and we are grateful to him for the privilege. If anyone who intends coming to Battambang with the remotest semblance of interest in Cambodian history and culture (Vatthana was also a monk for a prolonged period), then go no further then to arrange a tour with him, for the sights to be sure, but for the story to be enriched.
