- Battambang Central Market - After our guide and driver pick you up, the first area we are heading to see is Battambang Center market, this is an old French market where you can walk around and hear stories from our guide about the local way of life and the traditional way of people who have lived here passing by generation to generation. you will also walk along the riverside to see many old French buildings as this town also used to be part of the French protectorate from 1863 until 1953.
- Battambang City Hall - you will be seeing this city hall as part of the riverside walk and take some photos before moving on to other location.
- Khmer Prahok Market - after visiting Ek Phnom Temple, you can also check out quickly the location of the old tradition where our Cambodian people make The so-called ProHok (Fermented Fish) which is used a lot in our khmer (Cambodian Cooking), if we could explain and compare this Prohok to something else so you can understand how important it is to Cambodian, it is like Dutch people liking their cheese.
