This Tour is a Gem! - My hubby and I love cycling and seeing cultural, real life without the big tours. We were recommended to contact First Cycling Tour and we had the best time cycling and experiencing the real Battambang with our fab guide Paov. Paov was a fantastic guide; friendly, fun, passionate and knowledgeable about his local culture. We experienced so much without being rushed or the ‘hard sell’. Highly recommend, and if we come back to Battambang, we will do it again.

A wonderful memory - I would like to thank Rakso for her assistant s and particularly thanks to the guide who took me also to the Battambang railway(unfortunately his name alludes me)the bat caves. His knowledge and understanding l am truly grateful for! As too his fine comprehension of English,I felt he went out of his way to accommodate me ,which I am grateful and will have fond memories of my trip to Battambang.

A brilliant way to see Battambang! - We had an amazing time doing the cycling tour. Our guide, Sothea, spoke excellent English and was very friendly and knowledgeable, he gave us great insight into Cambodian history, culture and the everyday lives of Cambodian people and was just a great guy to have a chat with as well. We went to the killing fields, a bamboo sticky rice kitchen, fish market, rice paper kitchen, rice wine distillery, crocodile farm and a dried banana kitchen and of course we spent most of the tour cycling through the lovely flat countryside around Battambang. Most of the stops are small local businesses and you'll get to see how the food/wine is made and try lots of it, which is all included in your ticket price. The bikes were in excellent condition and Sothea thoughtfully brought plenty of water for us (just as well as it was a very hot day). The tour took about 3 and a half hours all in all. It's a great way to see Battambang and get a sense of what life is like for some of the locals in the area.

Superb Tour and Outstanding Guide - Without a doubt the best cycling tour I've done anywhere. You get a variety of activities and food/beverages as well as first-hand knowledge and history of everything from the wonderful tour guide Raksa. From the visit to the Wat, the killing field, the snake & rice wine still, to the banana growers to the crocodile farm as well as taking in the local countryside and views it's a great way to spend a day. Highlights included drinking some snake wine and eating sticky bamboo rice and getting to handle a baby crocodile. Hugely recommended.
