- Bamboo Train Battambang - Take a ride on the traditional Bamboo Train, a bamboo platform laid over 2 sets of wheels on a single track. In the old days this was used to transport goods between Battambang and Phnom Penh and was a typical mode of transport for farmers and villagers. Today, it takes you through the beautiful countryside to a little village you can explore on foot before returning to your starting point.
- Wat Banan Temple - Climb the 365 stairs to marvel at Wat Banan, an Angkor era temple which sits on top of a hill close to the Sanker river. Banan is seldom frequented by tourists and outside of Cambodian holidays it is likely that you may be the only visitor.
- Phnom Sampeau - Scale the side of a mountain leading to the ‘secret bat cave’ just before sunset where you will sit atop the mountain waiting for the millions of bats located inside the cave to awake. Marvel as this seemingly never-ending stream of fruit bats fly out of the cave and off into the countryside for their evening meal.

Day Trip Battambang & surroundings - We spent a really nice day with Mr. Han! He showed us the town Battambang and the surroundings, including cementarys, the bamboo train, an ancient temple, local plants and food like sticky rice, the killing caves and the bat cave. Because of his age he could also tell us much about the Khmer Rouge time.

Great experience with Mr.Han - Mr.Han is a really nice tourguide. He knows a lot about the city & he tells a lot of backgroundstories about the visited places. He had cold water bottles for us, what was really nice in the hot weather. Would recommend it definitely !!!

Book the tour!! - We really liked the tour with Mr. Han!! He picked us up at our hostel and we drove to the touristy spots but also through the countryside. His English is really good and he can tell you a lot about Battambang, Cambodia and the Khmer rough (which was really interesting because he was a prisoner and lived through it).

Very nice day in Battambang - The guide was very enthusiastic about his home town : Battambang. told us a lot ahout te buildings and took us to some nice places where you wouldnt come without a local guide, youll surely have a good time with this guide.

Great experience with Mr. Han - Had a very nice tour with Mr. Han! He showed us all the highlights of Battambang and the surrounding area in 1 day. Mr. Han himself is very attentive and punctual. He told us several stories about life in Cambodia and provided information about places we drove past. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Review Mr. Han - Mr. Han is a lovely man who showed us Battambang. We went to the bamboo train, drove next to the river and went to the killing cave and bat cave. He was super helpful and even offered to bring us to our bus. Definitely recommend!!

Day trip Battambang with Mr. Han Houn - Very nice full day trip! We went to the Bamboo train, killing cave and bat cave. Optionally you can also add the golden gate village, banan temple and a visit to the riverside fruit farm, as we did. Mr. Han Houn really let you experience of the locals for example tasting the bamboo sticky rice. And you also get some cooled water for free!

An enriching walk - We had a great day with Mr Han Houn and his tuk tuk. He knew how to help us discover the city of Battambang and its surroundings which are worth a detour. With him you can discover a rice cake factory, a banana chip factory and a rice alcohol factory. He takes the time to explain to you and above all he is very pleasant. If you pass through Battambang do not hesitate to contact him by WhatsApp.

Best tour guide! - Han was an amazing tour guide who was very generous with both his time and his knowledge of this incredible part of Cambodia. He provided detailed insights into many of the places we visited as well as personal stories that made history come alive. Han showed us many places that were not on the actual itinerary but really enhanced the whole experience. I would highly recommend this tour. Oh, and he's the best looking tuk tuk driver in Battambang!

Visit with Mr. Han Houn - Mr. HAN Houn is a very attentive person, he knows a lot about many subjects.
We had a great time with him. He knew how to guess what would interest us and showed us some very beautiful places.
