Beautiful immersion in the Battambang countryside! - Great private bike ride this morning, lasting around 2 hours, with our guide Savet, discovering his birthplace, the local way of life, the artisanal production of rice alcohol and the surrounding vegetation. A must do in Battambang! - This was such an incredible experience. Savet takes you around his village and you get to see and hear about the lives of the local people from an expert. You don’t feel like you’re intruding since they are his friends, family and neighbors. He is able to answer any and all questions. What a treat! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience - We are so glad we did the village life tour with Savet it was one of the highlights of our trip! We got to see how most people in Cambodia live including how they make their livelihoods, the areas they live in, their houses etc. It was a real eye opener that we would recommend to anyone. Fantastic experience - Today we had the full-day trip with Savet. It was amazing! As we wanted to see the cambodian local life, nature and lifestyle, we started at Savet's house (later we visited his parents house as well). We met his family, took a bike and cycled through his village. Savet told us a lot about how people are living, how they survive and shared a lot of information about local fruits. The surrounding was so nice!! After the part of the tour we visited the bamboo train, 4 handcrafts, killing cave and bad cave! After a long day, we are looking back to this great aventure with a big smile on our face. If you want have a trip which is totally different then others.....i really recommend you to book Savet!!!!! Very nice guy, his english is good and funny :) Ps. Hé will open a beautiful homestay soon. We have already seen the bamboo bungalows and they are looking amazing..wow!

Amazing tour with Savet - Must do if you are in Battambang ! Savet was a really good guide, passionate about what he does and his country. He will make you love it. He will take pictures of you during the day and send them to you if you want! You will get a beautiful souvenir. Morning started with a bicycle tour in his village. He will explain you how people live and everything you want to know on fruit trees! Then, we went to the bamboo train. It is touristic but it helps the community. Nice drive ! Fantastic lunch (big proportion!), made by his wife. Afternoon was a tuktuk tour to look at local handicrafts. Finally, we went to the temple on top of a big hill and finished by seeing an outstanding bats flight!!! A truly unique experience. Savet was also very helpful and I can't thank him enough for it. He helped us find a hospital to get some treatment for my friend. He helped with the translation and then drove us back to the hotel. Thank you Savet.

The perfect family outing - We visited Battambang for the second time with our family (including 2 young kids) and had an amazing time discovering the countryside with Savet! Even though we have lived in Siem Reap for 5 years and have seen quite a bit of the country, the tour with Savet stood out as an experience. Cycling the lush surroundings of his village, visiting his mother's home and wandering through the orchard learning about new fruits, visiting the rice wine distillery: it was a lovely experience that is suitable for young and old! I can highly recommend the tour, also because Savet has good English and can share a lot about Cambodian country life.

Wow was the word of the day!! - Wow is the word of the day today. Toured Battambang villages, pagodas, original bamboo train, killing caves, bat cave, saw rice wine, rice paper, sticky rice and banana chips being made (and sampled of course), met our guide Savet's family and went to his childhood home, saw monkeys and rats on sticks and much more all by bicycle, tuk tuk and motorbike. Amazing day. Highlight of my holiday so far. Thank you Savet, we loved every minute of today. Cannot recommend enough. Brilliant. Would suit singles, couples, groups, families....anyone. Fantastic...did I say fantastic..yes I did. .and it was.

A Fantastic Day Out - If you're visiting Battambang, a full day's tour with Savet is a must! As previous reviewers have mentioned, Savet is a wonderful host and you get to see a piece of the real Cambodia and meet members of the family where Savet grew up. The cycling in the morning is great fun and also the visits to the fish market, rice paper making and rice wine. In the late afternoon you'll visit the killing cave, which is very sobering, but you'll also see the bats (6.5 million) flying from the cave which is astonishing and Savet is a wonderful guide and speaks English very well. Just book it!!
