The journey continues to the next destination, the original bamboo train.
- Suspension Bridge - Before boarding the bamboo train, the tour includes a visit to charming villages. The route passes through the countryside, showcasing fruit farms and local pagodas along the riverbank. The friendly farmers and cheerful children will greet you warmly. The operator will pause in the village to explain the local lifestyle. The tour then proceeds to a suspension bridge near Kampong Pil Pagoda, offering stunning river views for photography. The journey then continues to the Bamboo Train.
- Bamboo Train Ou Srauo Laou - Experience the original bamboo train at Osrolao village, a unique opportunity as the government plans to close it soon. The 7 km ride offers scenic views of villages and countryside. Afterward, enjoy a late lunch at a village restaurant.
- Phnom Sampeau - Known as Phnom Sampov, this mountain features the “killing cave” and “bat cave.” From the top, view the cave where victims were tragically executed during the Pol Pot regime. After exploring the cave, climb the mountain to enjoy a breathtaking view and a Buddhist pagoda.
Note: Be cautious of the many monkeys in the area, as some can be aggressive. To ascend the mountain, options include walking, or taking a motorcycle or pick-up truck.
- Battambang Bat Caves - In this cave, observe numerous bats in flight. The cave, resembling a long dragon, houses millions of bats. It takes 30 to 40 minutes for them all to exit the cave.
This marks the final stop of the tour. After visiting the bat cave, the operator will drive you back to your hotel.

Exceptional tour guide, highly recommend - Lychee was a fantastic tour guide and host. He was incredibly informative, clearly very smart and knew a lot of history which we found very interesting. He could answer any and every question on history and politics that we had. He packed as much into our time as possible and ensured we saw everything we wanted to. Highly recommend to anyone with time in Battambang that wants to see what the city has to offer!

Great day - Highly recommend lychee as a tour guide. He stopped at numerous locations along the way to the attractions and had great knowledge on the area. He supplied lots of water throughout the day. Great tour!

Perfect Afternoon - Mr Lychee was such a wonderful guide. He took us everywhere in addition to the 3 main sites on the tour. He had a seemingly endless supply of cold water which was much appreciated on scorching Cambodian afternoons. He had great stories and history lessons for us. I'd highly recommend booking with him.

Go with Mr. Lychee - Mr. Lychee is a very nice guy and he did a lot of effort to give you a nice tour . I can totally recommend to do the tour with Mr. Lychee when you are in Battambang!

Great tour of Battambang - We had a great time exploring Battambang with Lychee. He spoke very good English and was able to give us local insight into a lot or the stops, as well as providing us with chilled water throughout. Would recommend for anyone wanting to see the city in a short space of time.

Very knowledgeable guide - Lychee was a very good guide. He brought the tour alive with personal stories. We took the bamboo train (very beautiful views) and were taken to see a few local places, including little stalls where they made Cambodian bamboo sticky rice and fresh spring rolls. Both were absolutely delicious. Today we also learned that Cambodians make cheese from fish.
Lychee was obviously very knowledgeable about the area and very happy to answer any questions, including information about Cambodia's history, religion and local traditions.

Great tour to see Battambang and the surrounding area - Lychee was our guide. He guided us well through the town and surrounding area. It was interesting to see the people making rice paper and sticky rice. Also both the sticky rice and spring rolls made from the rice paper were delicious.
Lychee was an excellent guide and made the tour personal with his stories.

Battambang half day tour - Very friendly, knowledgable tour guide.
Showed us some great places and gave us information about every place.
We did an afternoon tour and got to see the bats fly out the cave.
Bamboo train was really fun and cool to see the l Cambodian countryside.
Would highly recommend!
Our tour guide Ket was really really good aswell and looked after us in!!
