- Brateak Krola Lake - Spent 25 minutes traveling here. The lake and a dam were built by slave labor during the Khmer Rouge era. The impressive size of this man-made lake is notable. It is a large, mostly unpopulated lake, with a dirt road surrounding it.
- La Plantation - Spent 15 minutes traveling here. The main attraction is La Plantation, where you can enjoy tours and free peppercorn tastings. You can also purchase authentic pepper products.
- Kep Crab Market - 40 minutes to this destination. Finally, enjoy seafood or lunch at the crab market and swim or relax on the beach before heading back to Kampot.
