A must do in Kampot - A really interesting tour visiting many sights and a great opportunity to learn more about Cambodian culture. We had the flexibility to adapt the tour how we wanted too. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Best time - Kakary was the beat tour guide! He was very attentive and took us to pepper plantation, temple in the cave, salt fields and ate very delicious fresh crab and shrimp in Kep. This tour is worth booking and if you are in Sihanoukville they will pick you up for extra charge but worth it.

A brilliant day. Great way to see the Kampot countryside. - We had a great time with Micki on this day tour, we cant recommend it enough! He is very knowledgable and totally tailored the tour to us (less time here, more time there, bumpy or smooth road, climb into the cave to see the bats??). Our favourite was the last stop at the crab market in Kep where we got some of the famous crab, plus some other goodies cooked up for us. I think it would have been very difficult to experience this without Micki’s help. Plus he takes pictures and videos for you and sends them to you afterwards :)

Great way to spend a day - My boyfriend and I had an awesome time touring around Kampot with Mickey! The day was jam packed and a great way to see so much of the peaceful Cambodian countryside. A highlight for us was taking the “alternative” route through the cave temple…ask Mickey to take you that way if you are adventurous! La Plantation is great high quality products although the tour feels a bit long (we were more than ready for lunch by time it was over). I really liked seeing the beach and crab market- it might not have the extreme beauty of a Thai beach but it’s so nice seeing families picknickong and seeing a beach without mass tourism (altho I don’t think that will last very long…). Highly recommended!

Best way to visit Kampot area - First of all, the english spoken by Micki was the best I heard in two weeks in Cambodia. He brought us all over the places, telling us about real life in the region, and adding his personal experiences. Highly reccomended!

Full day Bokor/Kep and pepper plantation tour - Found Micki last minute and messaged him about booking a full day tour for the next day. He was very accommodating and fit another person I met on my travels to the tour. It was a full day of sightseeing from 7.30am pickup to 6.30pm drop-off. We visited the main sights of Bokor NP and had a rice snack at a waterfall. We then made our way to the Crab Market in Kep and the Kampot pepper crab was delicious. My favourite part was visiting La Plantation which is a beautiful agroculture estate. It was a great day, Micki’s sense of humour covered the horrible country road conditions!

Buyer beware from Sihanoukville port - I was charged 120 US dollars cash when I was dropped off at the port in Sihanoukville. That was an unpleasant surprise. I was not expecting that and was lucky to have the cash on me. I might have been arrested. I enjoyed the tour when I got there but going there was a 150 minute drive with at least an hour on unpaved (dirt ) highway. And of course about 2.5 hours coming back. It’s close to 60 miles there.
