Additional Information

Angkor temple site is one of the largest religious sites in the world. While a single day can highlight the main attractions, a 2-day tour allows for a deeper exploration of the lesser-known temples beyond the busy main sites, such as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, and Pre Rup, with a sunset view from a hilltop temple.

Day 1: Visit the most famous temples, including Ta Prohm (featured in Tomb Raider), Ta Keo, Angkor Thom (Bayon and South Gate), and witness a magical sunrise over Angkor Wat.

Day 2: Discover the hidden gems like Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Pre Rup, and enjoy a sunset from the hilltop of Bakeng temple. Each day includes a one-hour meal break at a nearby restaurant, with meals at your own expense.

Good experience with the 2 day tour! - It was very good ro have chosen the 2 day tour. The second day was really nice because we got to visit less busy temples and had more time to contemplate the nature. The guide Vone was very good explaining the visit and also very funny! The mini bus is very comfortable with ac, which is really good bc of the hot weather. Thanks!

Excellent tour with knowledgeable, friendly guides. - The two day tour covered the key temples and some others giving wonderful variety. The two guides, Nick and Sary were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable - on both the history and insights into contemporary Cambodia. They knew how to dodge crowds and find interesting corners. Hotel pick up / drop off etc went smoothly and lots of cold water was provided throughout the days. Highly recommended

A great experience! - We did the Big Tour & Sunset with Vone. We went to 6 temples & each temple we went to Vone gave us lots of interesting information about each of them. We’d lots of time to take photos (he’s a great photographer, lol) & wander around the temples. He answered all our questions & made a lot of jokes to make us laugh. Each time we went back on the bus we’d cold water which really helped with the heat.

Enchanting Angkor Wat Experience - Two amazing days, truly breathtaking. Our guide Sam managed to combine the beauty of the places with an in-depth explanation of the history. The charm of the Angkor Wat complex was enhanced by the perfect descriptions. Sam is highly recommended! The tour is spread over two days to capture the beauty of the sites at two key moments of the day, sunrise and sunset. And despite the rainy season, we managed to witness unique landscapes.

Perfect Tour with incredible Tourguides - What incredible 2 days! My wife and I were able to gather a lot of impressions and learn a lot during this tour. The centuries and sometimes millennia-old temples are breathtaking and absolutely worth seeing. But you can't really put this into words - you simply have to experience it for yourself. But what made this tour so incredibly good were our two awesome tour guides, who not only told us a lot about the temples, but also shared their personal stories with us. Vone took us on the small temple tour on the first day, which actually included the big temples, by starting at Angkor Watt at sunrise. His stories about how his own family lived in Angkor Watt during the civil war made us almost feel the importance of Angkor Watt in recent history. In addition, he was always a friendly and helpful tour guide, who is also an excellent photographer and captured many beautiful motifs and memories for us. On day 2, Sam took us on the big temple tour. Even though the focus here is more on the smaller temples, these also have their own charm and, above all, are even older and ends with a great sunset. What we particularly enjoyed on this tour were Sam's stories, which went far beyond the general knowledge about the temples. His personal story during the civil war was breathtaking and brought us closer to the history of Cambodia in the last century. Even though you often read that you should plan 3 days for Angkor Watt, we think that this tour is perfect for seeing the most important sights and learning a lot about Cambodia at the same time. We think the combination of a sunrise tour on day 1 and a sunset tour on day 2 is particularly suitable. In addition, you are always well supplied with water and can cool off briefly between the temples in the air-conditioned bus, which also picked us up directly from the hotel. We can warmly recommend Angkor Watt and this tour in particular and urge everyone to visit Cambodia and its historic architecture.
